Yeah, the same happened to me... :(

Used this mod in my game, and it worked fine until I defeated another sponsor. At that point I was not able to move past the sponsor's final transmission and collect spoils, the button was unresponsive. I disabled this mod and reloaded the game and it worked again. I do have some other mods installed, so perhaps it isn't playing well with one of them.

FYI I started to use "User Interface Tweaks - Rising Tide" also created by you, that mod is really awsome, it makes the game how it should have been made by the devs. So that mod also has a fast turn option and it works just fine, no bug with spoils of war!

@IphStich I tried it but nothing changed, bug is still there. But when I went into the "get mods" option in game there was no update button to update the mod, so I unsubscribed and subscribed it again, but it didn't helped. Maybe somehow you forgot to publish the update? I don't know how it works, I am just guessing. Thanks in advance!

@TankDoc_1985 The bug should be fixed now

This is really cool! I love it, whoever it doesnt let you to use the new "spoils of war" feature. Normally if you reject the enemy peace proposal then you can propose your own criterias for surrender (spend war score on tech, cities, energy, diplo cap), but if I activate this mod then when I click on "let us end this conflict" in diplo screen, then nothing happens.

Please update this for rising tide! The game is unbearable without this mod.

The closest we've got to Civ V's Quick Turns mod.
Gaborta 9 Nov, 2014 @ 10:19am
No more fast turn for own units / combat???
Bigglenator 9 Nov, 2014 @ 9:06am
yeah i agree with peregrine, this mod could really use that
Peregrine 7 Nov, 2014 @ 9:22pm
Could you add an option that automaticly turns fast movement and combat off for any civilization you are at war with? I know I can do it myself, but I often forget, and it would be a nice addition for an option!
Zogmam1 7 Nov, 2014 @ 4:54pm
ikr
WyldGambit 7 Nov, 2014 @ 12:21pm
Amazing idea! I was never thrilled about watching my oppoents' 4 tacjets defend some city I had a spy in every turn.
JellieBird  [author] 6 Nov, 2014 @ 11:58pm
Okay, new version is up, which allows you to set 'fast turn' status for players on an individual status, and even for aliens. This is all done in the diplomacy relations screen.
JellieBird  [author] 6 Nov, 2014 @ 8:15am
I'm going to look into it, but, I think the best I can do is:

Add an option to set "fast turns" on for individual players. That way, you'll still be able to see combat and movement on: your turns, alien turns, and players you're at war with. Or any combination of players, it'd be your choice.

It's high on my to-do list for tomorrow.

Actually I found that a unit of mine was being bombarded by an enemy ranger in the Fog of War. The only way I knew I was being attacked was the unit kept taking damage but wasn't on a miasma tile.
zArkham4269 5 Nov, 2014 @ 11:29am
I agree that there needs to be checkboxes. As it is, this mod makes it so you don't see aliens attacking your own units. I would think that any attack on your units should be seen.

Many thx! :)

Marvellous - muchas gracias Iphstich!
IONDragonX 4 Nov, 2014 @ 6:21pm
I have an idea to offer some variety. Could you make checkboxes in the options menu? You could have two checks for the quick movement (player/ai) and two checks for the quick combat.(player/ai)
That way, everyone can get what they want out of it
JellieBird  [author] 4 Nov, 2014 @ 4:34pm
The Letter 7 & mrhyms, if you navigate to the mods folder ( My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Fast AI Turns (v 1) ) then go in all the way you should see a file called ReligionOverview.lua. Open it in a text editor, and scroll all the way down. You should see two functions OnActivePlayerTurnEnd and OnActivePlayerTurnStart. These functions are the ones that change the setting mid-game. Change the true and false values to change the results.
surreal 4 Nov, 2014 @ 1:50pm
wow, thats awsome
Quickly 4 Nov, 2014 @ 12:51pm
Nice!!
Is it possible to edit some file to turn on quick combat?
Then this would be perfect! ;)
mrhyms 4 Nov, 2014 @ 7:13am
Hi - is there a mod that does the reverse of this?

I'm happy with fast move/combat during my turns, but I want to see what the AI is up to and who he is killing?
NoTomorrow 4 Nov, 2014 @ 12:18am
brilliant! i was looking for this! Playing with animations off always just to have fast turns was so annoying! Now I can have the best of both worlds!
diabolical_mouse 3 Nov, 2014 @ 10:01pm
So glad you brought this mod to BE!
