Yes, as mentioned in the description. That model only appears once in all of HL2 so it is an acceptable trade lacking the ability to set a unique model.

Unfortunately it also replaces the Vort's chef hats in Black Mesa East

It's compiled C++ so it would require custom binaries. This mod is just a model replacement.

Nothing that can be done about that because the engine doesn't clean them up. It's an unfinished experimental test function.
