turns out i was exactly on the money with it. i'm currently uploading the fix and i'll make sure to add you as a creator or at least credit if i can't do it right.

alright, so i believe the issue here is simply the fact it's a bik file.

yep, a bik file. the console shows that it calls for "in_the_vr_end" and not "[title].bik" or ".avi", and if you rename the file to the way it needs to be, it won't recognize it. I'd fix it myself, but i don't know how to edit bsp msps like that. i only know how to burn files into it with vide.

also, to answer someone elses question about the filesize, thats because:
a) long ass video
b) avi files are known to be massive as they are the video equivalent to flac files for audio
