They are the exact same files so in theory I would think you could still load the save but I am not entirely sure.
I am so sorry about that. I thought it was silly to have 2 of the same mod up and I originally did it because I couldn’t get the thumbnail on this one to update. This one was still doing better as far as subs and reviews so I thought it was time to delete the other. Very sorry for the inconvenience, on the brighter side I will have a big update coming out soon!
Here's my Chinese translation: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3090564070
I just released the new version of this mod, I added 2 new traits and added much more visuals. You can find it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3453779808
I wanted to announce that I am very close to releasing a big update for this mod. The update will include 2 new traits that will be the counterparts to the hero and demigod traits. These traits will focus on intrigue and will become available by committing murder, thus giving huge boosts to intrigue and well.. more murder. Welcome to phase 2!
More to come!
The first decision won’t show until you’ve won 20 battles as a commander. Do you know if you won that many and it didn’t show?
Great question and thanks for asking it. I loaded it up with GOT as the second mod and it seemed to work just fine. I could see the traits in the ruler designer and could start a game and find other characters with the traits. I do not have time to test the battle system but in theory it should work just fine since their wasn't any changes to the vanilla files. Let me know when you hit 20 battle wins if you could please!
There should already be AI with the traits when you start the game. To find them press "c" to pull up the search widget, then type in hero or demigod and select the one you want to search for. Then you can change the filter to show all characters on the map instead of in your current area and see where they are.
They cannot gain the decision to become a hero/demigod the same way a player character can. This is because adding a battle counter for each character would more than likely cause the game to slow down or crash. They can however gain the trait randomly so you can recruit hero’s and demigods but they will be limited.
Check the change log.
Give it a rating if you don't mind that'd really help out!
I appreciate the feedback thanks! Hope you're liking it so far!
It could be an XP trait that gives the possibility of a decision that allows the descendant to become either trait at a lower requirement or a special one ... dunno fully on that one, tbh.
As for the AI randomly having it, by randomly being created ... frankly, I don't know for that one.
@blazeknave
On the simpler end, something I was thinking about was making the traits Congenital and/or allowing it to be randomly created. In theory that should be able to allow the player to recruit hero's and possibly Demigods without putting strain on the CPU.
My only concern is that it would take away from the point of having to win battles to gain the trait. Let me know your thoughts.
I started this mod to practice coding and learning CK3 syntax so the goal is to touch on everything so it is definitely all possible, I just have to learn it first lol.
I know that it may be overwhelming, but I'm giving you matter to think about, and it is ultimately up to you to decide.
Another GREAT idea! I will definitely be updating this for a while so I really like having these comments to refer to. Thanks!
If we take my previous idea of either being a hero or anti-hero/'Monster' up to being a demi-god and its counterpart = 'Demi-demon' the building would be different with the duchy building being for the hero/Monster and Special Building for the Demi-god/Demi-demon.
No, all new modded files added. Nothing huge either.
I like the ideas keep ‘em coming!
For the Hero one, it would turn around chivalry and knighthood or something in the like of piousness.
As for the Demi-god, it could be Piety or whatever you deem good for that one.
Heck, you could add the anti-hero trait that is turning itself to darkness and everything like that.
Great questions, as this is my first mod I may not have the best answers yet but we will figure it out together. I would like to add the ability for AI to take the decisions but there is another vanilla action similar for the "undefeated" nickname that paradox did not include for the ai. This is because the battle counter that is included would be a lot to add up for every character and would probably slow the game down. I am not opposed to testing that though.
I would think it is safe to add mid play through as it is just an added trait and variables that could begin at any point in the game. Let me know if you notice otherwise, thanks for trying it!
