I played with this and the "lesser deaths" reducing consciousness makes them a lot less useful after dying even once. Well, that and they tend to get assassinated by their powerhungry children now that they essentially have dementia.

Let me choke you. These are definitely the Arcans from "The Life and Sufferings of Lord Brante", but it should be noted that according to the lore of the original source, Arcans cannot have a lesser death. Only humans have the gift of dying three times.

The manipulative gene throws the error "Getting random element from empty collection" every couple of ticks. Not game breaking, but annoying.

I second the complaint about the manipulative gene.

Minor issue:
The manipulative gene which enables the special interaction "gossip" is active from birth, so you have babies who goo goo ga ga whisper to adults that they shouldn't like this or that person.
I don't know about you, but I don't think anyone has deciphered the language of babies yet.

For real though, perhaps you could set an age activation on the gene, like 3 (so once they turn into a kid), similar as to how most drug genes work (Take effect after age 13).

I think the manipulative gene is making my pawns make random shouts/screams all day when they gossip? I notice it happens when the speech bubble they are gossiping pops up.
