@nekku honestly ill prob update the mod when i know they arent going to change more code on me, so maybe in a couple months. If they ever add multiplayer to B42 ill update very fast
nekku 2. maj kl. 6:07
@Ravense hey mate, do you plan to update this any time soon?
If not, could you please advise what to look for to update it myself?
Zara ♡ 4. mar. kl. 8:09
Probably not since the mod hasn't been updated since Jan 3. You guys can see when the mod was updated right next to the image, you know?
BEZKERUS 28. feb. kl. 7:14
That a awesome idea. Still Working? B42 received some hotfix patches
Blank 22. feb. kl. 6:20
does this mod work on B41?
Deez Nuts 22. feb. kl. 3:07
Can anyone confirm?
irrelevantredundancy 3. feb. kl. 16:59
Is that back working again?
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. kl. 22:52
@Lwf Will work on fixing it
Lwf 28. jan. kl. 22:31
Does not appear to be working in b42.2
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. kl. 14:00
@XOXANA I dont see why it wouldnt, make a backup and let me know how it goes
XOXANA 28. jan. kl. 13:17
still works after b42.2?
Kherbyne 24. jan. kl. 23:33
Cartons of nails and screws are 20 lbs, while the stack for 12 to make it are 6.4
Zara ♡ 20. jan. kl. 8:50
Thank you for this!
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 20. jan. kl. 5:41
@Mr.Dorito awesome
Mr.Dorito 19. jan. kl. 23:03
@Ravense It worked in my existing save!
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 19. jan. kl. 18:39
@Mr.Dorito I believe so but make a backup
Mr.Dorito 19. jan. kl. 18:09
is it safe to add to an existing save?
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 5. jan. kl. 22:58
@McSp00n i'd recommend checking the code itself and using "ctrl+f" to see whats changed as I dont always keep the google doc up to date, its a lot of work
McSp00n 🥄 5. jan. kl. 13:48
Lifesaving mod, thanks @Ravense.
Have to agree @magnitude10girthquake @Ravense, the devs have said before that the encumbrance system was always meant to be more encompassing than just weight. Values look realistic so far, i'll check the give me your input" section soon.
Jilfo 5. jan. kl. 12:21
Gracias amigo buen mod:spiffo:
spaszarus 5. jan. kl. 1:43
@GechoLabs i think it’s more representative of its volume + weight rather than just weight, and just represents that a carton is awkward to store cuz of its size.
WoodyDaOcas 4. jan. kl. 7:29
Hello sir
can you please update the list of changes in the google doc?

Also - did you have a chance to look in the the thread of "give me your input" here? I pasted some ideas there,
I am using those values myself and I'd like to get a second opinion
Thanks a lot
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 4. jan. kl. 1:37
@GechoLabs default is a lot higher than that, and also I think you want to reevaluate because they arent "kilos"
GechoLabs 4. jan. kl. 1:31
You're telling me a carton of cigarettes is 1.6 kilos!? That's 3 and a half pounds! Try 0.2-0.3... Based on this one alone I think you might want to reevaluate a few of these... I'd be happy to lend a hand with the proper conversions. I really like the idea and where you're going with this.
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 4. jan. kl. 0:45
@Barn it shouldnt
storm 3. jan. kl. 21:02
does this mod somehow have any incompabilities?
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. kl. 15:19
@Cohen yup, and ive taken that all into account.
Cohen 3. jan. kl. 6:28
My understanding of the ecumberence number is that it doest just represent weight but also the size, for example pillows are super light but you wouldnt fit a hundred of them into your car
necro-hamster 2. jan. kl. 13:21
Would it be possible to reduce the weight of mirrors, plates, and gas cans? I swear, they were all much lighter before the update. Sorry if someone's already asked this! Thank you for the great mod :^)
Skjold 2. jan. kl. 12:07
Would this work with a in progress save?
LumberingTroll 31. dec. 2024 kl. 13:12
Something I was thinking for the ID cards, credit cards, business cards, badges etc, instead of making them really low weight, just make wallets have a 100% weight reduction, and then set them so that only these items can go in them (which is default anyway) Then there is actually a reason to pick up wallets as well.
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 30. dec. 2024 kl. 17:53
@LumberingTroll For sure
LumberingTroll 30. dec. 2024 kl. 17:34
Awesome, I appreciate it!
Could you also add badges to this 0.01 weight set? All of them now have character names assigned, there are a few different types of badges as well, more stuff to collect :D
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 30. dec. 2024 kl. 16:49
@LumberingTroll I feel the same way, I made the player ID .01 but forgot the zombie ones, ill fix later tn :)
LumberingTroll 30. dec. 2024 kl. 14:19
Would you mind making ID cards either weightless / 0.01? I rather enjoy collecting these :D Dogtags are weightless, so not sure why these aren't.
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 24. dec. 2024 kl. 11:56
@Cerl Exactly
Cerl 24. dec. 2024 kl. 10:20
Your tagline at the top - "- Because pliers are not 3x the weight of a roll of duct tape. -" is very true. IRL, pliers are, on average, HALF the weight of a roll of duct tape. Pliers average 100 grams, duct tape averages 200.
a1 24. dec. 2024 kl. 0:20
thank you
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 23. dec. 2024 kl. 15:59
@Uncompressed working on fix asap
Uncompressed 23. dec. 2024 kl. 12:36
Tried before & after.
Uncompressed 23. dec. 2024 kl. 10:29
Also having a problem with Common Sense mod. I ordered it to load this mod after common sense but nothing changes.
darr3n.m 23. dec. 2024 kl. 8:35
Is this compatible with 25% weight reduction for wood mod?
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 22. dec. 2024 kl. 20:27
@Buiate will be fixed shortly
Buiate 22. dec. 2024 kl. 20:06
I don't know why but when I activate this mod the weight of the flashlight increases.
Spaced Out 22. dec. 2024 kl. 12:13
Okay, I only loaded this mod and the only two items I checked were both wrong (pillows and sheets, 0.8 and 1 respectively).
Spaced Out 22. dec. 2024 kl. 10:47
Does anyone know how to merge this with Common Sense? I tried both of these and it appears common sense overrides the weights. I tried loading it after this one and the sheets are still 1. Thanks!
conmcb25 22. dec. 2024 kl. 10:06
Did you adjust weights of various wood items and various metal items?
Mang 22. dec. 2024 kl. 8:44
could we get a seperate version in the future thats even more realistic, changing the weight of clothing, objects that are too light, and food?
Ravense  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2024 kl. 21:53
@Zaidism Not at the moment but I can definitely add it next update.
ZaidIsm 21. dec. 2024 kl. 20:58
does it work with b41?
