Viper, thank you for the bridge. I'm just going to run up a different tree on the class for now. The primary tree looks like a lot of fun, but for those running wotc, the perks don't work. If you have time to fix it, great, if not, maybe just let people know in the description or on your LWOTC bridge that this class has issues. Thanks for your work on this.

That was a very flowery response Deacon. However, it's incorrect. Death Viper has a LWOTC bridge, so if it's working correctly it shouldn't have an issue, there's something else going wrong. Anyone who is using LWOTC knows you don't need LW2 Secondary weapons if you have LWOTC already enabled, no mods have a problem with this. Dedicated pistol slot makes LWOTC a little wonky, but I don't have problems with the pistol slot classes, some classes just run with an empty slot, and it's no issue. I run Akimbo, watch dog, and others just fine. There seems to be a problem with these perks particularly not working, I use a lot of Death Viper's other classes just fine in LWOTC, so if you don't know what you're talking about, please keep it to yourself.

LW2 Secondary Weapons and Dedicated Pistol Slot are not compatible with any Long War mods.

Full stop.

Long War already has the LW2 weapons included (that's where they come from initially, and has its own pistol slot (ditto). So, in all likelihood this class is not compatible with Long War of the Chosen.

Not to mention Long war has it's own class structure and if a class is not constructed to be compatible (as Viper has said), it isn't going to be compatible. There are ways to bridge class mods, but it isn't as simple as subscribing and hoping for the best.

Ive been getting a lot of reports with issues with LWOTC. I personally dont use that mod and never will, so I have no clue why the things that are happening are happening with that particular mod.

Im just going to say that you guys should probably ask them why their mod is fucking up a basic class mod like mine because I have no clue.

@Latis I am pretty that DPS 2.0 isn't compatible with LWotC. Long War has its own pistol slot.

I tried to manually edit and enter the line in the dedicated pistol slot 2.0 but there's no solution

It should be fixed... I had to alter some things in the script regarding that skill so it targetted the pistol. It worked for me when testing so I am a bit confused to hear its not functioning properly for you :(

I just downloaded this a few days ago, so whatever you fixed, it wasn't that. My guess is that hit and run skills look for a primary weapon attack, but because the primary weapon is a pistol shot, it shows up as a pistol attack on the ability bar. Thus, the attacks work correctly, but because the abilities are linked to a normal attack instead of a pistol attack, they don't trigger. Any ideas on how to fix?

I'm not sure why, but the hit and run feature of this class is not working for me. I have all of the required mods enabled, but I don't get extra move or turns from hit and slither OR hit and run. Not sure what the deal is. I'm running LWOTC already, and your bridge, but these skills don't work. For some reason, the skill that spikes damage based on focus works just fine, but the standard skills are not working.

Had to rework these guys with my newfound ability for class design... they are now fully fleshed out and dedicated to being hit and run soldiers.

One thing that occurred to me is one thing we could really use is a melee based proficiency class. IDK, I could be missing one, but I think the closest we have is the Phalanx/Defender classes. Those are cool, but would be cool to have a 'street samurai' type slashy dude

UPDATE: Now the class functions fully as intended. Sorry about that, a minor oversight by me made the proficiency perk not work the way it was supposed to. Also changed a few perks around and added in a full description of the prof perk in the discussions tab

@Zarkrai They are custom armors so not on the workshop sorry.

Proficiency is in the name because I use the same method as Shiremct's classes. It doesn't require their mod but you can for sure use it along with other proficiency classes. The only requirements are listed... Theres a lot but most people should already have them installed.

@Death Viper What's the armor in the picture? It looks nice and I would like to know how to get it. Same with the outfit in the Scout's cover image. Also, since these classes has "Proficiency" in the name, does that mean it also requires the Proficiency mod or is it just for the name?

Yes! Working on a Den Mother revamp currently (Fleshed out with 100% custom perks so it wont require any other mods besides denmother and her requirements).

A few psi classes will be using a custom weapon but i will be adding that into the mods directly (and into the pack when it comes out)

Update: Disabled shadow ops classes. Updated in game description of profiency perk to fix typos and make it easier to understand.

The mobility. Being able to zoom over the battlefield is really helpful. Furthermore being able to quickly take down dangerous targets like Spectres with melee strikes and the shotty is nice.

@Barbed Wire fixed. For some reason I thought combat knives / swords used the same weapon cat. Its fixed now.

Not sure if this is a bug or just me misunderstanding the ability. Slice and Run is supposed to end in a melee attack correct? Right now my character is only running towards the enemy.

Could you look into it?

The Exvent mod also had future plans for a Shieldbearer (partially implemented already), Priest and Purifier. Are there any plans to mess with any of those or just the two you already mentioned?

Would you mind if I ask how many classes you have planned? As I'm on the verge of start a new campaign when you start posting your proficiency class, I don't want to miss your classes for the new run. I just want the ask for number of classes, so, I can anticipate the time frame whether should I hold out for your class pack or should I just leave your class for later campaign.
