Usually Glide cars hydrolocks when half of the car in underwater.

However, a thing that a player can do to reduce the chances of flipping over is to not keep it on full throttle. Reduce it to half and then you'll stay within more easily controllable speeds unless you're going down hill and only switch back to full when you're about to go up hill or are approaching a ramp.
Seriously this car never sounded this good before!
