I am certain though that the reason it worked for me is because I actually had thefiles already in the correct places, which is what was supposed to happen automatically here but clearly it did not do so. I think I may have to go about it differently, as the way the vpk is set up is telling HL2 that this is a mod for hl2 and is applied to the corresponding folder, when it's actually supposed to be a mod for ep2 and it's folder, so maybe I need to contain everything in an ep2 folder and packing the folder with that in it through the workshop uploader. Try placing the bik file in the workshop vpk in your "ep2\media" folder and going through it again. The vpk can be found in:
"...\steamapps\workshop\220\3399765564"
and then open the workshop_dir.vpk file with GCFScape or another vpk viewable software.
