After 6.1 patch, particle effects troubles have reduced to normal levels.
While this mod is now less essential, it remains available for players who still prefer its functionality.

Actually...some skills it does work on some it doesn't. Perhaps skill mods it doesn't work for? I'll investigate.

@David Do you think it is the same problem for equipment on the demon prince? If particle effects are the problem with that as well then that is incredibly stupid that CA hasn't fixed any of this.

Hey, thank you for this mod. Could you please take a look at the post battle screens aswell? Heavy fps drops there are most likely caused by the same vfx used for bright and purple fireworks.

Unfortunately this mod breaks cpecifics skill queue mod, idk if thats something that can be fixed or needs to be since you just skill the tree in one go with the skill queue mod, just thought id say.

I had crashes and really laggy game since OOD's update and this mod seems to have fixed it, not only in the skill point menu, but also the campaign in general, although it might be other UI mods I have downloaded doing that.
Anyway, thank you, and CA, please take notes!

@rustic I get a similar issue, though I have been toying with the load order to see if that might help before I took a proper look into the script itself. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to help, or if it does it is one of those things that has to be present at campaign creation to have effect and it takes a good while before you get enough skill point bloat to really tell if it is working. I have confirmed that it being at the top of the load order, i.e. before even the !!!!!! stuff doesn't help, so now tying to see if loading after all the campaign and skill mods helps.

I was always wondering why it lags so much during skill-ups, once I have 10+ heroes it becomes my least fav part of my turn to slowly click the laggy upgrades. Thanks for making this mod!

@sfero I'm not having any luck with Maffers' or Cryswar's expanded skill trees. I actually came here to see if others were mentioning as such, alas they all still produce massive amounts of laggy particles. I'm assuming that this mod only works with vanilla skills for now?

That being said, @Backmechuisa I would LOVE to see this mod either opened up for sub mod compatibility, or in support of the popular skill and ui mods to actually make this mod sing!~

Hey is it compatible with Unique Faction UI? Or any new race/faction mod which adds new unique ui for that said new race or faction? Because its not working for me right now for the "Champions Of Undeath: Conquest Of The Blood Dragons" mod. But if we make it work around it'll be life saver for me as well.

근데 이거쓰면 Cpecific's Skill Queue 쓸때 스킬이 안찍히고 이상하게 뜨네 그래도 그거 안쓰는 사람한테는 좋은 모드인듯 저는 저 모드 써서 못쓰겠지만 그래도 감사합니다

ok my bad! i did not explain how or what brakes this mod for Cpecific's Skill Queue.
when i queue skills i dont see the right panel skills of that mod is not a problem with particle emitter or at least i think. if u go to Cpecific's Skill Queue mod the 2nd picture have that skill panel.
maybe im wrong or im just blind to find that lines u posted

1) open Cpecific's Skill Queue mod pack file.
2) find "ui/campaign ui/character_details_panel_skills.twui.xml"
3)If the file does not exist inside the Cpecific's Skill Queue mode pack file, the cause of the problem is likely to be in another mode.
4)If you find the file, find <particle_emitter> </particle_emitter> under the hierarchy and delete it.

It is sufficient to delete UI components existing in the hierarchy.

If you've done all the modifications, you can now only use Cpecific's Skill Queue mode without this mod I registered with.

The issue happens because the changes I made to the XML file are being overwritten by the "Cpecific's Skill Queue" mod.

If you want, you can fix this yourself by going to: Cpecific's Skill Queue mod

ui/campaign ui/character_details_panel_skills.twui.xml

and deleting the <particle_emitter> element and everything under it.

I know this might sound complicated, so I think it’s best to ask the modder to add this fix directly to his mod. it should be able to do it quickly!

im happy and sad at same time... happy that i can fix this problem sad that CA did not fix it... CA mentality print more DLC, fix the game never. this game or this company will never exsist if there is no mods.
