Tatrapan spawned for me correctly in B42.7 but it is very spongy when driving over corpses. Could you adjust its core weight to make it drive more like a military vehicle or a tank?

installing this or tatra 815 stopped all cars from spawning. they spawned on my last game and all i did was add these two mods and i had other mods from you before

Can you add in the function for users to repair the parts like e.g. gas tank, door wheel etc automatically without dismantling them first? This would help alot. Thanks.

@batasai_s make sure the tires have air in them. If they don't they'll fall of the vehicle.

I have a problem with this vehicle which literally loses these wheels as soon as I drive 10 meters, I find them on the ground at the rear of the vehicle...

Hello! this mod looks awesome so far! could you consider adding Rv interior? im wanting to do a nomad run with this one, or you could make a serperate mod for the rv interior for this one. it would be much apriciated! :D keep up the good work!

@[RAME]Yubarev Should be fixed now, also changed the rear windows armor to not be removed after being broken because metal hatches are basically rear windows. Every other armor should be removed after being broken down.

Can confirm that driver's window and door protection on both Tatrapan and Tatra 815 is destroyable while "front protection" is not.

Hi! I noticed that some protection parts on your vehicle are not breakable when their health reaches 0%. The vehicle becomes invulnerable because of that. For example, front protection stays on the vehicle when its health reaches 0%, thus making the engine and hood not destroyable.

I didn't test other parts like window protection layers but I'm sure Tsar's common lib supports broken states of protection parts.

@Texas Omertosa Im afraid theres not much that can be done, it doesnt matter if i increase front/rear HP of the car, the game is just made like this and it sucks but its still better to have something like this than nothing at all. Its basically the multipliers from the zed numbers that do this, you can be driving at 2mph and you will still get your hood zeroed just from the zeds lying under your wheels. Just Zomboid things :/

@Texas Omertosa If youre passing over many zeds at once, the vehicle will suffer A LOT of damage multipliers from the zed numbers and the hood will not be able to get repaired quickly enough. How any armor works (this or KI5) is that it has its own durability and when the protected part, like hood or any other, gets damaged to certain % (in this case 79%), it will get repaired to full 100% condition and some of the armors durability gets lost. This "repair check" occurs every few seconds (around 2s), if youre driving through many zeds, the vehicle parts will get zeroed in about 1second and all excess damage will go to engine. This is unfortunately something that cant be really fixed unless you wanna make the "repair check" spam way too much which would probably cause performance issues.

Vehicles in B42 are really papery and i would recommend changing the vehicle damage settings when playing if you wanna have more durable vehicles. Damage multipliers from hordes are pretty rough.

The engine was almost damaged within 10 seconds, and there were less than 30 zombies around the car

umm still have problem. I have installed all the armor, but the engine still gets damaged when passing over the zombie horde. I checked and found that the hood is in good condition, and the trunk is also damaged. Is this a bug?

@Ryu there was a lot of changes in regard of vehicle physics for B42, and huge vehicles, especially ones with huge tires, seems to suffer from this effect far more than in B41

After using the vehicle a bunch I gotta say it can still be a deathtrap for turning, it has gotten better since your last update but it especially suffers from holding down a or d for a long bit over 30 mph/same thing happens when tapping a and d for a turn adds up over a few seconds causing it to "crash" because it gets lower and lower every press of the buttons until it tilts enough to hit the ground.

@Texas Omertosa You need to be near the vehicle and hit V, there you will see "wrench" with green plus symbol next to it, click on it to open the menu. From there you can armor the vehicle and craft other things like spare tires, roof storage etc. The armor crafted is not visible, its just for protection.

@Texas Omertosa Thats how any vehicle modded or vanilla work in this game. This game is far from being realistic, especially with how vehicle physics works. If youre driving 30mph in reverse with an armored vehicle that weight dozens of tons, it will probably sink when you stop the vehicle in 1 second. Windows are supposed to be breakable, you can armor them with Tsars library, having zed not be able reach the windows would be absolutely op and remove any aspect of safety concern.

There are even more unreasonable aspects, such as this car being so high that zombies can't even touch the windows, but the windows can still be broken by zombies and bite into the people inside the car

@Xerdess Gotcha, I can respect the realism and appreciate it as well. It's mainly an issue for me due to how often the vehicle collides with the ground (nearly died on the Highway during turns).

I do think having a slightly more nimble version that we can enable/disable (less realistic, more maneuverable) would be nice to have, if it's not much of a hassle to make, just in case some people prefer having the choice.

@Xander Im glad you like the mod, and about the turning issue, i decided to keep it that way because i thought it would feel more realistic if you couldnt just turn at high speed with vehicle thats not designed for it, but i can alter the roll influence and completely remove this "realism" aspect if you really find it bothersome

Love this mod, good job! Quick comment though, it seems like the Tatrapan has some issues with handling turns at high speeds (50-60mph in game). The rear will pull down and collide with the floor causing damage to you and the vehicle.

I've tried it with Offroad go Brrr & also Better Car Physics and both seem to have the same issue as well. Not sure if there's any changes that can be made to make sure it handles slightly better, or at least doesn't collide with the road, at higher speeds?

Thanks dude! Your work is greatly appreciated as well, cause without them I wouldn't I have anything to show off to others nor to enjoy myself. Sounds good about the trunk, nothing wrong with easy accessible storage at least in my book, heh. As a game developer myself I know how much feedback is important so I Just thought I would let you know prior to showing it off in case it was something overlooked and unintentional as I do not want to make a modder feel like I am out to embarrass them at all, that is not why I do what I do. I enjoy sharing mods that I thought looked sick going on images or recommendations (and they turn out to actually be frickin sick when exploring them like your mods, heh.)

I won't say who just encase they wish to be left alone as some of them are pretty big modders in this community.
