Discovered a bug: with this mod my species are locked into Social Welfare. There are no options for Decent Conditions and Utopian Abundance when selecting living standards

哇,帮大忙了,这个mod才是正确的,原版我的军事实力都宛如神明了,居然只加50点,太不合理了

@CaelReader Oh, thanks very much!

@Janlitschka @Fix this mod changes a single Define and so is compatible with all versions forever
Crow 11 May @ 1:36am
Would like to second the idea that the effect should maybe be nerfed to -100 instead of -150. Does seem a little too easy to win wars with this mod currently, 100 might be a better middle ground. Hoping for 4.0 update!!
Fix 7 May @ 6:16am
pls, save version mod for 3.14

Hey, how is the 4.0 Compatability? Thank you!

Small issue I noticed, love this mod so thought I'd let you know. Fallen empires will declare a humiliation war and then insta surrender if they're inferior to you.

Sorry for my bad English, maybe I made a mistake somewhere. I used a translator, and maybe there were some mistakes that I was a little lazy to sort out at night.

My entire message is over 1000 characters long so I'll send them one by one.
(1 part) A bit unbalanced mod, played a couple of games for 1 rink (played in a small collection). 1 of the mods allowed the country to simply collapse in a bad situation, a civil war would start if you were against the rebels declaring independence from themselves. So I literally did nothing, didn't even fight them, I had a weaker fleet at the time because I accidentally crashed it into space creatures, but the Aries literally signed a peace treaty a couple of months later and surrendered, although they could have thrown it at me. Or when I fought the bot, I was just stupid because I defeated the enemy fleet, but then lost the fleet to the enemy station because I didn't calculate the strength. So I just rebuilt the fleet a little bigger than it was before the war, but never used it. It got to the point of absurdity.
Faust Von Sekendorff 26 Apr @ 2:31pm
(Part 2) A funny situation when I saw an enemy fleet and a station on my station and a bot on my station and fleet, and at some point I look and see that the bot is ready to become my vassal, although I had terrible requirements. Suddenly a similar situation happened to him, the bot declared war on him, he destroyed his fleet before he could fly to the enemy system and the bot was already ready to land. So, the mod is not bad, but it really, really spoils the game. So maybe if the bot is stronger than you, then the situation is the opposite, but I say that there was a moment when I simply could not fly to enemy territory and sat with a fleet over the limit, because of which I literally lived on selling resources, and then with a minus and some exceptional buildings and it stupidly drips, not losing anything except 1 fleet.
Faust Von Sekendorff 26 Apr @ 2:30pm
(Part 3) Maybe if you change the value to 100; -100; or add some additional rules so that the bot doesn't give up, literally fearing your fleet, but not realizing that its fleet can be destroyed by the station or just the station.
Redeye 25 Apr @ 8:15pm
so now you can win if you defeat their fleets to 0?

yeah its like if you roll up an army to a village they arent gonna waste time and money on fighting the army
Triel 18 Apr @ 6:34pm
If you ships are stupid strong, I don't see why they wouldnt.
Azure 15 Apr @ 10:26am
This mod is pretty broken with Cosmogenesis. After one battle, or none at all, empires will surrender to any demand.
EgoCrazy96 14 Apr @ 11:42am
@Helldiver-Aset there is a mod that does what you're thinking of it's called Planetary Assault Army & Ship ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2017870391 )

The amount of times I've been stuck in a war because they're at -50 for "Demanding Surrender" even though I own every inch of their empire... Bless this mod.
Helldiver-Aset 6 Mar @ 8:07pm
please add a Mod where you cant Create War ships but instead need to Ground Invade if u want to win wars but Colony ships and all still exist just like the Titan and Collossus these are the only Exceptions
Kencko 6 Mar @ 6:13am
Big fleet declare war, "Please dont annihilate us we surrender!"
Can we get a mod where superior fleets just means yesmen
bread 4 Mar @ 12:03am
i love you

Ah, finally a way to reach a conclusion on wars against stone age primitives not willing to hand over their can of soda even under the threat of an exterminatus.

Great mod as I have to grind less as I have limited time as I have a life.

I was just complaining about fleets not mattering enough in war exhaustion calculations. Ty for this.

Best mod ever,thanks!:steamthis:
FuriousGreg 16 Feb @ 10:24am
@guardian Look a few posts down and you'll see the line of code you can adjust if you find they're surrendering too quickly. Try reducing it from 150 to 100 and see how that goes.
guardian1368 14 Feb @ 12:50am
the fallen empire keep starting war on me then surrender before anyone can do anything

this might pair well with my invasions mod. gonna have to see how they play with each other

absolutely epic mod. amazing how such a small change makes the AI behave much more reasonably and believably.
CaelReader  [author] 7 Feb @ 7:13pm
@FuriousGreg common/defines/00_defines.txt, PEACE_RELATIVE_NAVY_STRENGTH_FACTOR
FuriousGreg 7 Feb @ 4:59pm
Is there a way I can modify the code locally to play with that -150 number if I find that they surrender too quickly? If so where in the code would I find that number?
CaelReader  [author] 27 Jan @ 9:32am
@Phoenix not possible, surrender acceptance is purely driven by a static Define number
Phoenix 27 Jan @ 9:31am
Great mod and idea.
In my experience (loads of other mods), war will quickly or immediately end with AI empires (especially between a AI fallen and norm AI). So overall, with my AI set to aggressive it seems to reduce the effect of wars with the same frequency of war.

Could you add maybe an edict or policy that lets the user adjust the modifier? That way it's more dynamic and folks can adjust it especially with fleet mods.
Or maybe add some ethic based acceptance modifiers, like militaristic having larger offset and pacifist having higher?

Those would be great, and add a bit more meaning into war. Or at least until we get a demand system in the game.
Max 27 Jan @ 7:29am
best mod ever
strangejune 22 Jan @ 12:35am
@Siliconpot i feel like the empire would be more than happy to force a status quo in that case anyway

Amazing mod - thank you!
CaelReader  [author] 17 Jan @ 3:59pm
@Siliconpot nope, there's no way to add new factors into surrendering, this just changes the value for the existing factor
