I'm also getting invisible merms in my world. I really wanted to be able to build some merm houses just like I can for the pigs & bunnies. Anyone have a fix?

@Kothar Korinth You forget that pighouses also need four pig skins, so they're not *supposed* to let you replenish the resources immediately. Besides, pigs don't even drop skin 100% of the time.

and of course this mod works on pre-existing worlds!

Does this work in pre-existing worlds? And I personally think the requirement should be 8 frog legs & 8 fish. My reasoning is that if each merm gives u one of each of them, then it should b 4 each. But seeing as how frog legs and fish r much easier to acquire compared to pig skin, 8 of each balances that out imo. Btw I don't say this so u change it, I'm just gonna change it's settings for myself. I was just stating my opinion.

I made this mod for myself, since there was no up-to-date mod doing this, except Wicked and the Merms by Bones+. But that mod also introduces a new character and contents which I did not wanted.

The alternative could be Craftable Rundown House RoG by ThisGuyIsAwsome, but It' not up-to-date, it hasn't a placer and an icon for the Merm house, and has no customizable recipe.

I agree with bones for the recipe. A pig house hosts one pig which drops pig skin, while a merm house hosts 4 merms, which drop fish and froglegs. If 4 pig skins are required for a pig house, 16 fish and frog legs are well balanced to make a rundown house.

Note also that, contrary to pig houses, you don't need to actually fight merms to build a rundown house since you can find fish and frog legs in a pond.

I don't think it's really a copy. Yes Merm house has been done before.

I did a version in Wicked and the Merms but the original didn't have a placer and I added one. This mod add the ability to change how many matierals for crafting which is a nice touch and has a different graphic in the recipe tab.

I also thought fishes and froglegs make sense as a pig house is similar.
