hey, for planes the T2 heavy machine guns do less damage then the T1 heavy MG's, while they still cost and weigh more then the T1 MG's

Final note: To use the models in this mod correctly, you must select the model individually on both the tank/air designer and on the division template, for some reason "use best match" breaks the models, we believe it's somewhat related to how the model "slots" work which essentially means it's an unfixable issue unless we change some hard coding which would make the mod more unstable to use.

On the topic of compatibility with the latest update, I've received a very mixed bag of reports stating the mod does and doesn't work, the next update is unfortunately not planned until approximately August-September time.

There have been many comments about making this mod compatible/issues with compatibility/requests to make a non dlc variant of the mod.
As it stands the following makes this mod incompatible with another mod:
If another mod effects the research AI
If another mod effects the tech tree

To make this mod compatible with another mod which affects either of these things, this mod would require to some degree malicious coding, which is against steam rules and regulations and potentially illegal software, as such we are not going to be publishing or making use of such malicious code.

The MIO issue is present with a couple of designers, we have identified the issue to be due to some UI sizing issues and a slight code change paradox made, as of this time we have the number of MIO UI issues to be effecting ~5 designers

Another issue that has been reported by many is the 50s helicopter tech and jet tech which is barred behind an unseen special project, as far as we're aware this is due to not having the newest mechanical dlc gotterdammerung, using the command research_on_icon_click, should bypass the issue.

The Naval Tree for UTTNH has significant issues which we are aware of and on our roadmap this is one of the largest contenders for future updates or more specifically a major overhaul. Most of the code for the naval tree comes from the original mod of which is now heavily dated and we need to redo it from scratch, which is not expected to be easy or a quick job.

for some reason, icons for 1945 Modern tanks are broken for me, plus some 1955+ tanks are broken in terms of icons and models, at least for the United States

Some tank, navy, and air force modules have not been localised, exposing the underlying code (e.g. navy hulls, engines, aircraft engines, etc.). Please update them.

Most likely an answered question although, does anyone know where to find the Special Projects required for certain Technologies? I am trying to research an helicopter yet I can't find the Special Project required for said technology. I can't progress (in terms of aerial) past the 50's.

@Gruppen_Flugel is not HP just how much casualties you take? If you place orgwall enemy will not be able to advance, then encircle with tanks. IDK where the problem is.

Y'all need to add special forces doctrine for the new units y'all add in and also make it so that army bonuses apply to them (if they don't already). At the moment, there really isn't any point to using certain new special forces, specially the commandos since upgrading the base paratroopers through their doctrines just make them superior to the commandos. Also, adding mechanized and motorized version of the new spec ops, particularly the desert and shock troops, would be nice.

Other than that, the mod is pretty good.

the models won't show in-game, like the tank models are not the same, like they look like normal vanilla planes instead of modern
