Im glad to hear you still plan for that mod, and i think it fair that you want to wait for stable B42, as long as i can have a stable shop, i can wait :cta_emo7:

Also it seen that minor update is slowing down, maybe we will have stable version in May, we all hope so since there isnt much left in B42 road map ... unless they add a ride-able horse :cta_emo10:

I'm very sorry to read that @Quilava !
I decided to mod further as soon as there will be a stable B42 Build. Since it is a lot of unpaid work to create such a mod (if you want to make it with high quality), it makes not much sense for me to create mods just to fix them with each incoming updates..
However, I am free the coming days, if I find time for it I will consider working on patching the mods and maybe even create the shop you are looking for 😇

I noticed that the translations for CN and CH aren't showing up correctly. This is because the game doesn't recognize ZH_CN and ZH_TW. Could you change ZH_CN and ZH_TW to CN and CH?
For example, change "ZH_CN" to "CN", change "ItemName_ZH_CN" to "ItemName_CN", and change "ItemName_ZH_CN = {...}" to "ItemName_CN = {...}". The same goes for Recipes.

UPDATE V 1.2.5
- Adjusted the distribution table, spawn of Can Sealer should now be less (-5 Points)
- Removed Shop Module entirely (will be available as Addon Soon)

Is this the mod that adds the shop function in its entirety or does this just add the can sealer to the shop? I'm sure some players would be disappointed if it just disappeared. But, I was confused, and kind of bummed that I was alone in the wilderness, but I could still buy a can of tuna. Are you able to make it optional? I also, end up running into hundreds of can sealers throughout my play through. But, back to my first comment, make the shop optional if you can, if not then, yea get rid of it.

Thank you for the feedback. The spawn is exactly same as can opener. But I will fix this and also remove the shop function this weekend.

Spawn on the Can Sealer is WAY too heavy. I find at least 1-4 in almost every house, with very rare setting. Also the shop thing, I can confirm.

Its in your screenshots, in fact. You have the option to buy canned food and the canner. Right click money in your inventory with the appropriate amount of money in your inventory and you'll see what I'm griping about.

Yeah, but when you right click money it brings up a bunch of items to buy. That shop is not ONLY in the crafting menu. It would Im not the only person with complaints about the shop, either. I had to pile drive through all of my mods to find the culprit, and this was that mod. :steamsalty:

I did not implement such a function. There is a shop category in the crafting menu and that‘s all, maybe you should consider commenting the other mods for this🤷🏼‍♂️

This mod would be a LOT better with an option to turn off the buying of the canned goods from the context menu. There are other mods that allow that, and including that in a mod thats supposed to be about an item that can CAN goods is a bit redundant and slows down right clicking. Otherwise its a good idea.

Unfortunately Salt is kind of buggy when setting up any amount beneath 1. It‘s probably some kind of vanilla bug.
Let me think about a more immersive solution without habin to remove salt entirely, I‘ll adjust it this evening after work😇

@_Rinxcii, same problem here.
For me it shows 0/0.5 for JUGs and bottles, not letting me do anything that needs vinegar (like canned potatoes).
But for fish (whole or fillet), which uses oil, it works fine.

i have both the bottle of vinegar and the jug but i guess its not registering . it says 0/0.5 for the jugs and i have 3 jugs . and for the bottles it says 10/0.5 but still not craftable

tried canning tomatoes but it looks like I need an actual "jug" of vineager and can't use the one that comes in a bottle, you can pick it when looking at alternatives in a recipe and I have 4 bottles but it just wont let me craft it...

I will adjust the prices slightly in the next update to offer more realistic ones. Also I‘ll probably create a sepparate Shop mod to get more items like weapond, building tools or stuff like that, depending on the community feedback😇

Now i have good reason to keep the empty can to make more, but tbh, im into the shop system the most, pricy it is, but it help a lot with long term survival, pair this with the stock market mod and you can at least go easy on looting food

I do have some suggestion and will live it in discussions, overall, it a really great mod to have :cool_seagull:

Removed "Base.Vinegar" from the recipe, looks like in the new build they renamed it and I was not able to find it yet. Will be added at a later time, going to test it in the background.

More recipes are going to be added over time, for example you will be able to make your own canned fish, canned peas ect. Since this is a big project it will take some time.
