it really does warm my heart to see this little nostalgic game have its models ported over to the game. hope to see that map finished. if not, even releasing the unfinished version would be cool!

Oh yeah, Alias Runner was the beta version of FFX Runner, which is the red car. FFX Runner is the final version. On The Run is the Miniclip version. They're all made by the same developers, Officine Pixel, a company based in Italy

Let's FUCKING GO!!!

This just unlocked a core memory for me jesus christ

I REMEMBER THIS GAME!!! I remember how much of a challenge it could be as u hit obstacles and temp blocked areas like the train making u loop around again
Avantgarde 9 Feb @ 3:57pm
yep.
Flippy Gaming  [author] 9 Feb @ 3:36pm
As far as I remember, Alias Runner was the original name, with the red car. On The Run being the Miniclip name, with the retextured billboards and fuel pickups. I believe FFX Runner is the original as they had also made the game FFX Racing, exact same style and everything. Maybe Miniclip had some agreement to have their own version that's the same game?
Avantgarde 9 Feb @ 2:05pm
I mean it's synonymous yellow car is there in the sequels so y'know, FFX Runner was the first On The Run game.
Avantgarde 9 Feb @ 2:04pm
FFX Runner was originally called On The Run if i'm not wrong.
Flippy Gaming  [author] 9 Feb @ 12:14pm
Also what was the deal with Miniclip naming it On The Run, are they not the same game?
Flippy Gaming  [author] 9 Feb @ 12:13pm
@Colty, I can look into it, currently I'm working on some map making stuff, but I do plan on doing alot more Shockwave games. I need to compile a list of all the games everyone has been recommending.
Deika 9 Feb @ 12:06pm
oh "On the Run" this game was so much fun to play on miniclip. Back then it was really hard and I completed the game once. I miss the 2000s
Avantgarde 9 Feb @ 5:21am
Will you do On The Run 2 and Vegas?
Misunder 8 Feb @ 6:12pm
This game takes me back..
Bently 8 Feb @ 7:32am
Oh wow, i'm surprised seeing this old school game in the Workshop, sure only as props but still.
I remember playing that game years ago when it was during the "Shockwave Player" days.
Poker Wolf 8 Feb @ 6:20am
I'd love to see a glide version, awesome
Nexialist 7 Feb @ 9:23pm
I just played this game last night on Flashpoint since it was my childhood game what a shocking discovery

MY CHILDHOOD
Flippy Gaming  [author] 5 Feb @ 12:01pm
Yes, couldn't get it to work, however. I probably screwed some step up.
blackegret666 5 Feb @ 11:38am
Have you tried making it an INFmap?
Flippy Gaming  [author] 5 Feb @ 10:55am
Unfortunately no, the map is an unfinished attempt at remaking the FFX Runner map, since I ran into the issue of it being bigger than the Source Engine maximum map size. I was also running into some errors with the roads visleaves breaking apart weirdly. I may come back to it to finish what I started, but I have other map projects in the way of it at the moment.
هارون 5 Feb @ 10:39am
Is there a link to the map?
Flippy Gaming  [author] 5 Feb @ 9:19am
This will be prison life in 5 years.
im definitely not trolling 5 Feb @ 9:12am
that must be prison life
blackegret666 5 Feb @ 8:51am
Nice map
Flippy Gaming  [author] 5 Feb @ 8:22am
I can attempt to figure out how to do vehicles based on the HL2 Buggy.
Vinnie Bounty Hunter 5 Feb @ 7:29am
Oh my god I need this in Glide but now this reminded me of when I play that game what memories could someone put it as a vehicle please if it's not too much trouble?
jrm10071322 4 Feb @ 10:40pm
This is the very last game I would've expected to see added to the game, considering FFX Runner is an obscure game, but it's great to see
