Brilliant mod. I wanted something like this for a long time because vanilla is severely lacking with only pistol cases. Going to make custom grid for the Inventory Tetris mod as well.

@MKROWLEY There is no direct support. I believe it should be compatible, as long as Tetris has some form of built-in fallback for new items

@yO I have replaced the distribution engine with a newer one. It's config is now found in the 'media/Server/Configs' folder.
This method does not replace the original distribution, so it shouldn't cause any issues, as far as I know. To be safe I have also lowered the spawn rates. Disabling spawns should work too, since the config holds the only reference to the item entry

Build 42, and ye I have a few mods. It is just the hand gun and rifle boxes that done work for me

@yO Sounds a bit strange, looks like I misunderstood how item spawning works.

It seems that cases take the space of all the other weapon/ammo items that can spawn, they are not simply added, by they replace these items. So it kinda breaks the overall distribution. Maybe i'm wrong, but that's my exprience of looting a ~10 places of mil and sur loot.

@Sim0nG 「狐」, 1) I've disabled all ammo boxes/crates and they still spawned, 2) I've tuned down spawn chances for all the rest cases to be less x3 times then default and cases still spawned as much as before.

i'm using Brita's armor and weapon packs. In "marked" (in sandbox naming) aka Closed Shut cases Brita's weapon did spawn, so no problem here.

Broken on b41. Messes heavily with loottables, sandbox settings (both spawn chances and removal of certain types of cases) don't work.

@Nathan414ss If you're referring to the ones that are already open - it's an intentional behavior. Loot spawns in closed marked cases, which require crowbar or knife to open

Thank You Sim0nG I was able to spawn guns in residential homes, however nothing spawns in the weapon crates or ammo crates that I found

@Nathan414ss When setting up sandbox options, go to Weapon Cases > Spawn Rooms.
There you can specify any home-related room.
I'm not sure if there are any specific house spawns, but you may add in something like garagestorage or hall. Check out "Room definitions" on pzwiki, you'll find everything there.
Don't forget to separate each value with ';' though.

@No:EXE Yes, you can add it to an existing save. Cases will spawn in unvisited places and refilled containers (if loot respawn is enabled).
Distribution works like in vanilla with the only thing specified being rooms in which they can spawn. So as long as the map has a special zone, let's say, dedicated to spawning army surplus - mod items will appear here. So it's technically random

@Bayrain I believe the issue with items not spawning in multiplayer has been resolved. I'm open to any additional feedback on how it performs, if any. Thank you!

@Bayrain, I'll check the pools. I'd say there's something wrong with the item types.
As for multiplayer, it's pretty concerning because I can't pinpoint the issue right away.

Dumb things to bring up, seems like the magazines and suppressors I added to the pools don't actually work and just give the player a empty box. And on top of that, not seeing the cases appearing in multiplayer zomboid

Whatever changes were made in the last update has caused build 41, at least mine, to no longer allow right clicking any bags or containers in the window bar.
