I am aware of the issues with this mod. As I said earlier, I will be rewriting a lot of the scripts soon. I just need to figure out 4.0 first. Thank you for your patience, I won't leave this one hanging for long.

Quarian portraits are missing several clothes in empire creation, i am not a coder, far from it. I was able to fix the issue by downloading previous iteration of mass effect species mod by LostInACave https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1172859036 Then copy pasting the GFX folder from this older mod to this current one, and overwrite. Now my Quarians have all their clothing options visible.

I will rewrite a lot of the scripts in this mod at a later date. I mostly just copied over existing files when updating this mod so there are a lot of errors carried over from the previous developer.

While I can't change the artwork itself, I can change the way the scripts make it work. Hopefully I can fix most of the issues users are having at the moment.

Hey so Turian and Asari portraits are cropped, there is a duplicate clothing option for alliance humans, and almost all portraits for salarians are transparent

The Asari get the end of their tentacles cut for all but the first Phenotype. The "hair" option gets bugged if attempted to change for other Phenotypes and doesn't show up. version 4.0.6. (Ruler editor and in-game)

I tried removing them, but it seems like they are literally the base body upon which the portraits are built, so removing those would remove the Asari species from the mod. Original author was passionate about Asari I guess. I merely updated it, the artwork isn't mine.

You can research for that yourself, I just follow Mass Effect lore. As far as I know, it's something about the bone structure, skeleton and composition.

They don't need to have feathers to be avians. They have Avian origin and several features that indicate that. Also, Humanoids are a very broad category that can contain multiple classes. Most Stellaris portraits can be classified as Humanoid. There are Reptilian Humanoids, Avian Humanoids, Mammalian Humanoids etc. Mass Effect lore classifies them as Avian accordingly.

Unfortunately, I can't make the portraits myself. This mod was originally made by Princess Stabbity, I only updated the code for compatibility with the latest game version. Trust me, I'd like to have a lot more of the Mass Effect species in here, and while I'm good on the scripting and integration part, I can't make the portraits..
