Cant make it work playing with controller for some reason, so sad. I was playing wiht someone on splitscreen mode and my friend couldnt use the get bloodied mechanic, neither could I when I played singleplalyer using a controller, the option is not showing up on the interaction menu

Cyrisa is right, rain should be a drawback/risk for the camouflage. I don't agree about the sweat part though.

How about creating an injection for camouflage, like Brad Pitt in World War Z? So that it requires more effort and intelligence

Could you add slow sickness increase and where rain/sweat will slowly wash off the camo?

I feel like these are the only two adjustable options that are missing from a full experience.

I agree, a sickness cap is necessary, I keep dying trying to clear areas in 10yr later because the blood buildup

Stun duration is how long zeds are fooled by you covered in blood

I was trying to figure out why i was dying from sickness until i realised that it was all the blood on me from not washing my character for a few days. It really needs a cap because you shouldn't be able to die outright from just having blood on you

The nausea added to your character is the same as the one you get from eating something spoiled,

If you aren't capping how high Food Sickness can go, once it gets above 90 it deals damage to Overall Health. It'll keep dealing that damage until Food Sickness is < 90.

@Mister X It's possible that the mod contributed to this illness, but it's not the sole cause. I use this camouflage quite often and I'm not infected. The description explains how this function works, roughly, and it's always recommended to wash your body after using it. There's also a risk of infection if you're injured. This is to prevent the game from becoming too easy when using the camouflage. Keep in mind that if you kill zombies and get covered in blood you will also be covered in infected blood. The nausea added to your character is the same as the one you get from eating something spoiled, it has nothing to do with zombie infection or anything like that, but it will kill you if it doesn't lessen (the game does this, not this mod)

Do I understand correctly? Does the stress rise sharply from camouflage? It's just that as soon as I use it, my character gets panicked abruptly.

@kiwimilkdecaf I don't think I'll implement it, since the discovery of camouflage is relative. Nick quickly realizes this happens, Rick learns it from Glenn, who noticed it in the same way as Lee, but Hershel also suggests that hunters cover themselves in the blood of dead prey so that other animals don't notice them. Michonne uses her zombie "guardian angels" and discovered this by keeping her chained-up husband and daughter, so I assume the characters either intuit it or noticed it through experience. It's, as I said, relative, so I assume in PZ they already know it

In Telltale's The Walking Dead, Lee only realizes after being covered in guts that the walkers won’t notice people. So maybe you could make it so that you only unlock camouflage if your clothes are 100% dirty or bloody. Before that, your character wouldn’t be able to use corpses for camouflage—making it an unlockable skill rather than something you know from the start. (completely optional in sandbox settings or a different addon)

@smd I was thinking of doing it! Maybe with the burlap sack, but I'd have to see how to implement it well. If I do it, it'll take time!
