Nah, don't worry about it, it's your first map after all. I'm not mad at you in particular, I just want all map makers to finally leave CSS behind. This would make more maps accessible for those who don't want to spend money on a 20 year old game that would just sit in their library anyway. I also don't understand why the community accepted having CSS as some unavoidable requirement, when it was always avoidable, packing the content was always an option, people were either just lazy, or too worried about their storage space. Again I'm not blaming you in particular, it's your first map, so you didn't think about it.

@Undertaker this is my first map uploaded to the workshop, before this I had no clue how to even pack anything into a map or even how to upload anything to the workshop, I also didn't think this map would get as much attention as it did, I just wanted to show people what I made because I enjoyed making it and thought people on the workshop might enjoy it too and because my friends told me I should post it. I'm sorry i didn't consider it before posting, and I thought it would be fine because many other maps require content from other games too. Sorry for letting people down.

As a map maker you are like a vendor, and the players are like your customers. Now imagine telling your customers to that they need to buy something else completely unrelated before they're able to buy your product. Sounds ridiculous, huh? Imo it's the map maker's responsibility to make sure the map is completely playable for everyone, before uploading it on the workshop. Feel free to tell me if I sound crazy for saying that

Just buy CS:S guys.. It's a great game and timeless classic, it's worth the five bucks. And if you're too broke, then just pirate the files, good god. Don't go on rants in some comment section.

Owning some dead ahh online game that no one plays anymore should not be a requirement to play a Garry's mod map. Packing content into the map file also isn't hard, and it doesn't cost anything. Either pack your textures, or don't use them, it's that simple
