Interesting, I had no idea that the Iberian Mythology had a cultural impact in northern african kingdoms.
Is it even true btw?

I'm sorry, I have discontinued the mod, I think there is another desert temple mod in the workshop more recent that works with the last patch

this mod seems to be broken now. tried it with 2 different " all factions mod" and 3 different african tribes. the temples generate 0,0 religion.
Jason Wolf 9 Jun, 2016 @ 8:08pm
Did you add temples to the other African factions?

Would love to use this mod to make an effective Cyrenaica empire. However though the temples appear for the other factions. Cyrenaica are not able to build any of this.

Hello @Cataph. Of course, i don't have any problem, you can incorporate and modify it as you want. And thank you for the credits.
Cataph 10 May, 2015 @ 4:01am
Hi, Ermanarich and I are working on a berber expansion. Can we incorporate, and - if patches demand it - adapt, your temples in it? I would hate to make new temple chains from scratch when your work is basically what we are aiming at. Full credits will be given.

Sounds like a great idea. If it is possible to create new cultures/religions so that arabians, berber and africans could be splitted up into sepeare cultures would be great, too. Btw. I think Cyrenaica might be actually a greek colony...
Javi_Wan  [author] 8 Dec, 2014 @ 12:17pm
@Norphi Of course i don't care. I'm glad that it can reach more people. And thanks about the arab info. I'm going to work in the new arabs temples, althought more info about them would be nice. I was thinking about separating building cultures in Arabs and Africans to make it easier.

I loved this mod so much I translated it to german. Hope you're cool with this.

Btw: Acient arabians prayed to three Godnesses (Al-lat, Al-'Uzza & Manat) which were so popular that there are clues that there were attempts to include them into Islam. Would love to find their temples in the game.

Thank you for the tip, my research was limited to the berbers, and i make available for arabians and aethipians the most "generic" temples, to have some religious building that spreads their culture. I'll be working in the new chain. Thanks

could you make a temple of Apedemak for meroe that was thier chief diety a war god and for Axum thier god would be Ashtar you just dont have an accurate good for the ethiopian factions just royal tomb or cult of the dead

Yes, cyrene was greek colonial city state, and in fact it shares the egyptian subculture in game. I'm having probles getting their temples because of the subculture (the temples are enabled for the africa-arabian subculture, and enabling them to cyrene makes them dissapear their other buildings...)
Mandinka Warrior (link) 24 Nov, 2014 @ 11:03am
Just telling you Cyrene was a splinter part of the Greek Ptolemaic kingdom so I think they maybe should be greek culture.
Thorstein Veblen 21 Nov, 2014 @ 9:19am
Thanks Javi_Wan ^^
Javi_Wan  [author] 20 Nov, 2014 @ 3:51pm
I thought they were of greek culture, because they had egyptian roster. Then I will give them the same set as nasamones, with aegyptian influences.
Thorstein Veblen 20 Nov, 2014 @ 3:21pm
Can you do something for Cyrene ? They are "desert nomadic" but have greek temples, it is really and so there are many rebellions, it's really frustrating
ChivesKirk 19 Nov, 2014 @ 2:13pm
Thank you :D
Javi_Wan  [author] 19 Nov, 2014 @ 12:57pm
It adds new buildings, so if you have the "old" temples in a already started campaign, they will appear simply as "foreign" temples, like when you conquer a setlement, and you will have to convert them to a one of the new ones. I'm going to upgrade the description to show the faction list.
ChivesKirk 19 Nov, 2014 @ 12:42pm
Questions: What factions (names) does this affect? Is it adding buildings or replacing?
