Okay, but I dont see enough demand to lock in and spend multiple months working on something that doesnt seem worth it when I also have a list of other things to do that are far more exciting.

It means the texture is missing, meaning you do not have required content installed or have multiple addons that override eachother.

Most attachment packs have a shared attachment that basically works on any swep, yes.
