Guess we're gonna have to start on that by asking valve to make the holy mackerel more realistic too.

Adding my two cents here: I'll have to agree in part with @Conflagration here. To me this looks more like an aztec obsidian knife with a bit of a jaw attached. With that: the handle makes no sense IMHO - you're more prone to hurting yourself than your opponent with it.

If you insist on keeping the model I sugest adding reddish-brown streaks and tint to the handle to turn it into an old, weathered, bone. Currently it's a tad too bright IG.

Farcry primal knife? :fcp_sabre:

tf2 needs more knives in my opinion

W work! this is very nice:spycon:

Disregarding the fact that this isn't the kind of weapon Spy would use - where's the shark bit? The blade is obviously stone, not a tooth, and the jaw is from some kind of small predatory mammal like a fox or wolf.

I don't choose the stats, just the idea I had. If valve adds this it's they who chose the stats.

The slower draw speed discourages the use of your revolver before you can reach maximum speed, as the knife alone does solid damage in close quarters (52 per hit, a little over the pointblank shot of the Diamondback), so I would not use it with any primaries but stock or L'Etranger. Under no circumstances should it be used with the Enforcer, unless you're just memeing.
I do like the idea of this weapon, but I also predict that it would be a pretty big noob trap for the Spies out there who can't backstab, and would rather lean on the damage boost to carry them through. For this I would suggest an initial speed reduction to punish reckless use.
To the pros who can trick-stab consistently, the cooldown for backstabs would discourage them from using it, as it would hinder their otherwise short kill time, so they're better off using the Big Earner or the Kunai still.
Lastly, despite the aforementioned issues, this knife would really piss off Razorback users, and for that its a solid 10/10.

I can already imagine this being overpowered with L'Etranger, and either the Invis Watch or the Cloak and Dagger. With both equipped, you would get 17 seconds of cloak from a full meter of the former. You would get 11.22 seconds of running with the latter--not to mention the fact that the speed boost obtained would not decrease this time, if we keep with the precedent set by the Big Earner and the speed boost from the Disciplinary Action.
The innate damage boost from the knife would not be so much an issue at first, but if a good Spy can stay alive long enough to build up their speed, there will be many complaints from the enemy Snipers and Scouts complaining about him chasing them down and butter-knifing them to death (which will be very funny, because I hate these classes).

Have no idea. Don't think so, AFAIK Mac made this in blender, he does really well and def isn't his first.

Cool. Still a Hard No.
oopsboom24  [author] 10 Apr @ 6:02am
People do actually make knives like this IRL rarely, guess they just don't grip their knife too tight Lol.
Blumberquack 10 Apr @ 5:26am
cool concept, i'm just worried about spies fingers lol
PainkoBreadCrumbs 9 Apr @ 8:48pm
No thanks.
Wumdingers 9 Apr @ 7:19pm
looks cool
Tobleroney 8 Apr @ 6:24am
Doubt it would get in as a new weapon but a reskin for stock or whichever other knife would work really well
Sung Jin-Woo 7 Apr @ 8:53pm
This wouldn't get in as a reskin either. Only a cosmetic would work realistically
Fox 7 Apr @ 2:11pm
Mod?
ZeBadmedic 7 Apr @ 2:00pm
It annoys me so freakin hard that Valve doesn't add any new weapons, even when it's just a reskin...
Kimmy 7 Apr @ 12:57pm
I respect creators still making new weapon models. Even if never to be officially added to the game, always a mod for someone to use.
oopsboom24  [author] 7 Apr @ 9:34am
Wouldn't mind it being a reskin for the big earner, not the Samson Skewer.
Sung Jin-Woo 7 Apr @ 9:20am
Cool as this looks, Valve isn't gonna add another knife to the game. Imo this would be better spent making a cosmetic similar to the Samson Skewer

oopsboom24  [author] 6 Apr @ 6:10pm
Also for those concerned, the dead ringer would be difficult or impossible to use with this. Considering that you lose cloak when damaged.
oopsboom24  [author] 6 Apr @ 5:49pm
Appreciate it! If anyone has feedback feel free to lmk.
As well the stats I suggested are *not* how they'd make it into the game, if Valve adds this knife they'll do the stats and balancing. Just the idea I had I think would be pretty fun.
Ho-tee 6 Apr @ 3:33pm
This looks pretty cool!
