Can I create scenarios on this route and publish them to the Steam Workshop.
fearntree  [autor] 8 ian. 2016 la 10:41
@Pentacone, thanks for your comment. I've just published a screenshot of my re made route. I'm currently up to Barnsley from Sheffield and this section of the route should hopefully be uploaded within the next month! The new route has a more accurate layout and signalling.

WOOOOOOW.......Some Success........"QuickDrive Tutorials".........!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx5KxAp3ZPU

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTSwEuWPZH8

The 1st is Quite Quick........!

The 2nd by MattP. is Much More Detailed........BUT THEY BOTH WORK.....!!!

Have "Fun" Everybody........???
Pentacone 6 ian. 2016 la 6:37
Well "fearntree".....MattP. Ran your Route Last Night, on His Personal Stream........It Only Took me Two Mins to "Subscribe"........!!.......And It Only Costs £3.70 Return, from Dewsbury to Huddersfield.....So I'm a Very Happy Bunny.........!!

BUT, The Route is Only Accessible from "Build".......After I Gave your Class 158 a "Destination" of "Huddersfield 2"........And you Call It a "Quick Drive Through Yorkshire", But The Route is Not In "Quick Drive".........!!

Plus, the "Station Markers" Do Not Appear in the Scenario ( F6 / F7 ).........Have They Been "Switched-On" in the Route.........??

I will Now Attempt Some "Easy Scenario" Myself....To See What Happens.......??

And We ALLLLL Hope that You Can Complete The Route, Soon.........It's Looking "BRILLIANT" So Far......!!..........Thank You.........!!

PS: If you are a "Bit Flumaxed", Consider Contacting "Matt Peddlesden".......He's Very Helpful for Workshop Projects, Ya 'No..........??

That is good news. It sees nothing at all. Not even on any route listed under any drive modes.
fearntree  [autor] 10 sept. 2015 la 13:10
@TycoonUK I'm not sure why this may be? Have you tried playing it from the editor? And I'm currently working on a new version of the route using google underlay. So far I've made it to Elsecar from Sheffield. :)
AngloYorkshire 6 sept. 2015 la 14:56
This is my home route and I wish you the best with it!
I have the problem that I cannot see it other than under the editor. Can you help please?
Bliff Curton 5 iul. 2015 la 5:43

jo3do88y 6 mai 2015 la 11:45
@fearntree I'm absolutely gutted! As I live in Huddersfield and so want this route!
fearntree  [autor] 4 mai 2015 la 6:59
@jo3do88y Sorry to hear you can't get it working! I'm not sure why this may be. I am wanting to create a new version of the route using google overlay, however I'm having trouble to get it to work.
jo3do88y 24 apr. 2015 la 23:30
Hi, I have all the DLC required however when I load the route it just appears black? Do you know how to fix this?

ok i know what you mean at leeds and manchester i work for northen and work the man to leeds line
fearntree  [autor] 12 dec. 2014 la 6:50
Hi Driverlewis, I doubt I'll ever get that far as it starts to get very complicated towards Leeds and Manchester. I also don't know the transpennine route very well unlike the penistone line which I commute on nearly every day.
ḓя☤♥℮ґłεωї﹩ 6 dec. 2014 la 11:42
or even manchester
ḓя☤♥℮ґłεωї﹩ 6 dec. 2014 la 11:42
will you ever maybe extended to leeds or doncaster
fearntree  [autor] 30 nov. 2014 la 13:25
Hi Philip, the map and route is completely from memory. I only found out you could use overlay half way through so didn't fancy re starting the route!

I think there must be an issue with the free roam scenario packaged with the route so I'll try and upload a better scenario at some point this week.

The DLC's used are - : Donner Pass, Great Western Main Line Route, London To Faversham High Speed, The Riviera Line: Exeter To Paignton.

12345_ 30 nov. 2014 la 6:06
it wont let me use this, what dlc are required
Skifans 30 nov. 2014 la 5:15
Thanks fearntree, il download that now. Also, I may selfcould not see the route in quick-drive and had to make a free-room senairo to use the route. It takes a bit off effort but is totaly worth it for this route.
philip 29 nov. 2014 la 13:47
Great route, really nice drive. Did you do the track with Google map Overlay?
fearntree  [autor] 29 nov. 2014 la 9:28
Hi skifans, the class 142 pacer is from Armstrong Powerhouse and is payware which I used on the testing, and the 144 pacer is from the riviera line which has been reskinned. You can find this online and it is freeware. And Im not sure why it isnt working Wonderboy, I will be releasing some scenarios soon which might rectify the problem. Have you tried opening the route in editor?
Startrekka 27 nov. 2014 la 17:58
Hello Fearntree. i have subscribed but don't see it anywhere. I have all the DLC I need for it to work. Any advice ?
Skifans 27 nov. 2014 la 14:33
Just wondering - where did the Northern Pacer come from? I carnt seem to find it on the length DLC list.
StanLoad31 26 nov. 2014 la 16:44
ok cheers fearntree will eventually get round to playing it
fearntree  [autor] 26 nov. 2014 la 15:57
I may do a branch line edit at some point! :) Want to get the main route sorted first haha! I'll have to have a look at the textures and I will try and upload a scenario for the route soon if I can. And regarding the Donner Pass assets pack, I haven't downloaded it as a separate DLC so I'm not too sure myself! But there are quite a few buildings used from the pack.
StanLoad31 26 nov. 2014 la 11:48
What exactly is the donners pass assets for buildings?
GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLS 26 nov. 2014 la 9:34
Hi, if you want the flora out of the grass, use the paint 'Grass without flora'.
I don't like flora, it's unrealistic. Ghougood route t
alipackham 26 nov. 2014 la 7:07
sorry to sound silly ive subscribed to this but cant see it anywhere apart from edit is there a quick drive for this or anything.
TheDeterminator 25 nov. 2014 la 22:03
That is true feamtree, It would be a bit of a task. Maybe a Huddersfield Branchlines route to include Clayton West, Holmfirth and Meltham?
RavenHawk 25 nov. 2014 la 20:29
Nice looking forward to trying it out this holiday
fearntree  [autor] 25 nov. 2014 la 3:47
Thanks for the comments! I've still got quite a bit of work do do on sorting platforms and the signals etc but I'll upload the changes as and when they're done. I'd love to do a 1950's version of the line (especially the Clayton West branch, as this deviated from the station I live closest to) however the penistone line as such has changed a considerable amount in regards to it's actual route. Originally when built it only existed from Huddersfield to Penistone, when it then joined the old Central line (Woodhead route) Where it originally ran towards Sheffield Victoria station on the woodhead line. I do believe this changed to a diversion to barnsley not long after but due to the blurred history, making the older route could prove tricky due to the huge changes in the 1970's.
TheDeterminator 24 nov. 2014 la 22:47
Wow, one of my local routes! Good job......... Well done.
Would be great to see a 50's/60's version including the Clayton West branch.
Fab work pal. :)
Beanzi Boi #TF2SP 24 nov. 2014 la 12:05
I LOVE THIS ROUTE!!! :D
CrashBoxNat 24 nov. 2014 la 7:57
An interesting route. I do like the fact that you have used the older signals and track from the european asset pack. I think it gives the route a lot of character. I do understand that this route is a work in progress and can see some areas for improvement, such as the platforms. Try to ensure that they are an even distance from and line up to the track correctly. Also, make sure that there are no breaks or welds in the platforms as it creates problems with trains opening the doors. Despite this, it looks like a rather nice route to drive on and has a lot of potential. Looking forward to future updates.
