Yo the clown there was this one time I collected everything in the outpost (before the gate) and for some reason a gunship fight appeared i think you need to do something in order to get this boss fight working and after the fight the gate turns off

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get past the force field gate just past the power station. I've tried the plug, I've used the rocket on everything. I can't tell if the rocket launcher and gravity gun were hints or just loot at this point. Well made map, but I just can't figure out what's supposed to happen there.
