All uniforms have now currently been updated and follow the same standard!! Artillery has also become a lot deadlier within this update. Let me know if this is good or bad in your eyes? Thank y'all for playing! I believe this is the most popular WW1 mission in the history of the workshop?:thestar:

I'm blown away to see this is the first entry of mine to receive a star rating! Interestingly the mission is close to a perfect score, as it only has a single down-thumb (96% positivity somehow only coincides with 3 stars?). More Ostfront missions are to come! I will be covering The Battle of Warsaw/The Great Retreat (1915) using Conrad Veidt as our figure to center around.

@Ain adding all of the little details is where the satisfaction comes from. A uniform update is coming soon once Russian uniforms become available;):thestar:

Amazing map. Beautifully desolate and immersive to play through.

Update for fans of WW1 Game series, Tannenberg especially: Austrians now have marksmen armed with Werndl single-shot rifles and sidearms (the Werndl arcs a little high so aim lower than expected to compensate). Additional defenses have been added to the strongpoint protecting the center of Łowicz. I am experimenting with wagon-forts and highly encourage those looking to portray pre 20th century combat to also give them a try! You really can make functional defensive positions that allow the AI to create proper firing lines. None of this is scripting and can be done just with creativity. :hindsight:

@ElNoobMasPro72, thank you! Almost all firing ports are tested to work for both AI and Player use which almost no other mission author does! The hidden trick is that I have raised the floor of all trenches by using 'plank bridge' props, courtesy of a WW1 prop mod? Without these raised floors - the trench would be too deep for any level of firing port. :thestar:

i love how you made the trenches with the sandbags

u are rtard @Malata Societa' Official there were no tanks in 1914 and planes were used for recon.

I think that the missions of the Eastern Front, as well as the other mission "the death of Reutlinger" would not fit tanks and planes since at the beginning of the First World War aviation was crawling and was used only for reconnaissance, and tanks entered combat only in 1916 for the first time, and the style of battle was more similar to Napoleonic battles, but I believe that our friend Beren, later on, may grace us with a mission where there are vehicles, planes and grenades etc... it is worth the wait, the man is talented.

I goofed and may have used just one type of prop from Ardennes, will fix this tomorrow by using another tent model for the Russian encampments. I apologize guys:thestar:

@InconspicuousGrabendieb I'm more than happy to share! From the top down; Strendant's Headgear Military Hat Green, SOV Greencoat, and JAP Rifle vest 3 (The one with the bedroll). The Japanese cartridge holders are more representative of Tsarist equipment.:thestar:

What are the Russians' uniforms composed of? (I guess I could just replay it and loot some of them, but 'ere be lethargy)
