Randy, Trife, it's the "Always Animate Weapons" option in Melee Animations. just turn that off and you're good. no need to equip fists

Seems like it was Melee Animations. @Trife solution did help fix it! Did not need to equip any fist. Just download and add Simple Sidearms.

@Randy Butternubs , probably Melle Animation makes the issue. I had the same problem. If you're using Simple Sidearms, equip fists and you're gonna be fine

Pawns won't turn off lightsaber. Just keep running around with it fully deployed. Toggling "Draft" or dropping it then re-equipping it does nothing. Usually happens when they do engage an enemy in combat.

I would appreciate a smol guide or clues on where to look. I found a "Cleansed Crystal" on a trader but that has been the only sign of their existence so far

Yeah, my pawns are throwing lightsaber left and right automatically, and causing some weird lags for some reason. I can't find a way to toggle the throwing off.

Oh sorry, to be specific, ive only had this bug on "dual lightsabers", not other kinds. Its random, but when it happens, that dual lightsaber is permanently "broken".

Enabled only the lightsabers mod on a save file that had the dissapearing hud/hotbar issue, and isolated it to the mod. For some reason, the texture or model of a lightsaber, when being equipped by a pawn, can glitch and cause the hotbar to dissapear. Could also be an icon or ability on the hotbar that causes it.

Reloading the entire game/starting over does fix it however. This was after removing all the other mods and running just lightsabers and prepare carefully (to start with them for testing). Its only specific lightsabers, as the hotbar dissapears from other pawns if i drop the saber and have them pick it up, so the problem follows the specific saber only (and doesnt affect other sabers).

So work around right now for others, dont disable rimhud/etc (i never used rimhud to begin with) just make a new lightsaber and put that "bugged" one in a dark corner.

Just a heads up, ran into this error when using a custom lightsaber and setting the color to red with the rgb sliders and not the presets. I reverted to an old save (before using the rgb slider) and used the preset color and so far I haven't seen the same issue.

Exception parsing node <color>UniqueWeapon_Red</color> into a UnityEngine.Color:
System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

Maybe it's a conflict with pocket sand? Im going to try disabling that. Also unless I customize the stance, the lightsaber is held far from the pawn when equipped. Don't know if that helps

hey, love the mod, but i can't seem to get the animations for duels to work. I'm using your psycast mod as well along with the outer rim mods. I have all dlc's besides anomoly. Don't have any other mods relating to animations besides blood animations. Any ideas? can't seen to find anyone else running into this issue.

could you at least add an option to disable the crystals on the starting tile? I'd love to see this mod to be something to be explored and found, not basic. And it would be great to adjust probablilty to find them. Like, making them super rare. Maybe bound to some specific biome, maybe randomly each time you generate the world. This would be super relevant for Odyssey gameplay.

would be great to have a quest for it and a special kind of raid. a quest showing up tiles where you can find the crystals (so, to make them rare and non-available on a starting location), a raid where the leader has a saber (you can't use it yourself, but can try to reverse-engeneer; no luck at first, but you progress with each such saber you disassamble). when you do create your own saber, another type of raid: more powerful saber posessing pawn or a group of them. maybe a duel event? like, one pawn invites your dude to go on another tile and fight with sabers 1vs1.

i noticed a bug without error in console. when i try to attack a larger group of mech or people so my character is stuck. even after fights when not drafted character still stays with lightsaber in hand. the way to "move" the pawn again is to down it and then order people to move the pawn to hospital bed. it stays there forever otherwise. Any idea what causing this?
