I have noticed this mod is still somehow being overriden by other mods,
happens even in my modpack, not sure which mod does it, though.

Removes Mineshafts instead of Ancient Gates, as far as I can tell.

Could you make a simple mod that would permanently remove items that drop after death, that would be interesting

UPDATE: Mod priority increased to 9999.
Changes to lush planet's ancient gate spawning should no longer be overwritten by another mod.
