I install overhaul mods like this one but my game always crashes... Do I need to activate something or is it just bad luck

I was wondering if maybe you intended to tweak a handful of specific HL2 props
used in NMRIH that look noticibly bad,like for instance the horrible sink in the cinema
restroom in broadway.

I have a fixed version of sofa01a that has the materials properly set-up; the retail version has 2 skins, but due to an error in the QC, they are the same material twice.
