The NPC cannot remove the ashes from the incinerator. When NPCs try to take out the ashes, they will just walk motionless beside the incinerator.

Thank you for the mod. Really handy! Is there a setting to control the volume of the incinerator? The roaring fire sound is a bit too loud imho.

@SweetCaptn yea I started a new savefile and now it works lol. Ive always used mods midgame. Didnt know we can use it before starting a new save file. Thanks! Neat mod btw

So turns out you can put living people in the incinerator if they are unconscious, but the mod doesn't kill them before erasing the corpse, so it's a good way to get rid of community members you don't like.

so....i have to start new game then activate the mod? Im quite lost! Ive built in my gameplay but it wont light up nor anyone tried to cremate anything there

I better follow your workshop then, got this mod mostly as a wsy to hide the evidence after assasinations of looter leaders, and it works wonderfully for that.

Would it be possible to give the ashes an use? Like an alternative material to charcoal (like how corrugated steel can replace steel), or usable on growing trees or crops to make them grow faster?

I recommend changing the entrance of the prop to -1,0, and the angle to 270.
That puts the entrance arrow on the open side.

Hmm Ill try the mod again and see what else could be causing that. So the incinerator is lit on, has bodies inside but they aren't burning? Might have to start a new save, but I still don't see why it's not working from the get go

He's correct, the bodies are not being incinerated on default settings. I've had four bodies in the incinerator going on 40 hrs of play time now and several instances that members of my community are just standing around doing nothing.

Hey! You can't actually order them to incinerate bodies (would require more work), they will do so automatically when they aren't busy. You can increase the range at which they will look for bodies to incinerate by increasing "NpcIncinerateRange" in the settings file.

If you were looking for the ability to order characters to incinerate all bodies in an area, that's not in. Maybe in the future if many people request it but I'm done with the mod at the moment

Do you have a toolbox equipped and level 3 construction skill? If that is the case, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be visible

I don't see the recipe to build this. I am in sandbox mode and I am in coop but in singleplayer it isn't visible either.

@SweetCaptn I would love that very much, to me that is the main thing that is missing in the game right now, the interactivity of the settlements with the world, they feel as if they are a separate entity in their own little bubble. Them sending scavenging parties would help a lot to bring the world alive, hostiles could even end up fighting each other when out scavenging in the world.

I wish i could help you somehow but i know very little of coding.

Those are all great ideas :) I had actually been working on a mod adding "scavenging parties", with AI settlements sending scavengers through the map looking for resources. It just gets very time consuming, but I'll probably start working on it again at some point

These mod ideas could be bring a lot more of life to the game and it's (rather passive) settlements as they would move around more to get their food and could also compete with other settlements over the hunting grounds and scavenging areas, making the game more dynamic and unpredictable.

Part 2: Mod Idea 2: SIS Role Trapper - This mod would be just like the hunter one, but they could use an item like "Rabbit trap" to spawn rabbit meat in the respective spots around hunting grounds.

Mod Idea 3: SIS Role Scavenger - This mod could work similar to "SIS Look For Weapons" And the NPCs could have a radius to where they can look for stuff, these could be generic items that the settlement needs, It could also work similar to "SIS Fishing" by having an item like "Scavenger's backpack" the scavenging spots could be around houses, cities, anywhere where loot would be more common, than just spawn random items from a list to them. It would be even better if they could go as a Squad due to the danger of going to cities.

Hey @SweetCaptn You are clearly the biggest modder for this game right now and i use pretty much half of your mods in my games, thank you for them and for your efforts, as i was browsing your mods i got a couple of mod Ideas that could be derived from others of your mods and due to character limitation, i will divide this comment in 2 parts. Part 1:

Mod Idea 1: SIS Role Hunter - This mod could work as an almost copy and paste from SIS Fishing, we could have an Item like "Hunting Bow" that NPCs could equip like the fishing pole and go to spots in the hunting grounds to spawn venison meat in their inventory, just like the fish, it could also have cooldowns and be chance based whether they suceed or not, this way NPC settlements could finally have their own souce of meat and players could have hunters.

I think making it so they spawn in NPC settlements would be easier, since they would have no way to make the steel ingots to build it. But even making them spawn in their settlements is going to be annoying to get right.. I'll look into it
