(ex. E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\custom\my_custom_stuff\cfg\...
scriptfiles.cfg ) you can put the script files in there.
Try to disable other scripts one by one and see which one conflicts with this mod.
Could be other script mod conflict.
Most of the scripts when installed together tend to not work for some reason.
As for rigging try to add custom attachment point called "camera_point" in .qc file.
$attachment "camera_point" "ValveBiped.Bip01_Head1" 0 0 0 rotate 0 -90 -90
You can attach it to any bone not just Bip01_Head1. Player model files also should be installed directly into hl2_complete folder.
It's incompatible, it needs custom attachment point for camera view

because valve did a lazy job and just took some voicelines and slowed them down
Workshop sucks ass actually,it doesn't add physics to playermodel despite files being present in the mod so you'll have to install playermodel files manually from google drive link in description. There's a full tutorial in bugs & issues thread which should clear problems with this mod.
It uses standard ValveBiped skeleton so if you use any gmod playermodel and add new attachment point called "camera_point" it should work.
*** ERROR: C_ServerRagdoll::InitModel: models/player.mdl missing vcollide data ***
Not sure why manual pickup doesn't works. Try to resubscribe to Script MultiLoader, Manual Pickup and all other scripts to see if it works.
Maybe files weren't updated automatically by workshop.
Do not forget to open HL2 steam library properties and put this in launch options box: +ai_force_serverside_ragdoll 1
Afterwards restart the game and start new game. Do not load old map.
I'm don't know why it doesn't work with 'Serverside ragdolls' and 'Manual Weapon Pickup' for you. 'Serverside ragdolls' is a requirement for this addon. Maybe try to install PlayerLib also.
And still, the 'Serverside ragdolls', still break 'Manual Weapon Pickup'. And it can't be no other script addon, as I do not use any other script addons other than yours and Script Multiloader. I swear it.
Does the mod have to be left alone as a workshop subscription, or can I manually install it to a custom folder in HL2 Update MMOD?
I've also tested this addon with "Serverside Ragdolls" and "Manual Weapon Pickup" and it works properly to me. There should be other script addon interfering with them.
This addon doesn't work because of Valve's genius workshop's virtual filesystem.
It doesn't load playermodel's physics file despite it being present in addon.
I've updated description guide to manually install playermodel files:
1.Download playermodel files https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LRmZLQ9e7PVld1tBwiTMTEkvswykKrXw/view?usp=sharing
2. Right click to HL2 in steam library, click "properties", then "installed files", then click "browse" .
Go to "hl2_complete" folder and unpack archive there.
3. Go back to HL2 steam library properties and put this in launch options box: +ai_force_serverside_ragdoll 1
4. Afterwards restart the game and start new map. Do not load old save.
