But Despair does raise a good point on the normal maps looking kinda crunchy here and there, plus I'd also suggest trying to see how these all look with just half lambert at 0 instead of trying to replicate the effect with lightwarps

"The mod would be better off without the lightwarps, as it looks quite bad. The normal mapping is rather extreme, especially on the faces. Normal maps are very sensitive, and they look best when not going overboard. You need to be diligent in checking your work outside of HLMV, as the lighting environment is not the same as the game. You should also add some in-game screenshots."

You're talking about trying to match the L4D2 style, like what are you even on about none of the L4D2 characters look anything like this.
How did you even make these normals? Did you google "generate normal map online"?Did you save them in 256x256 and stretch it back up with nearest neighbour sampling?
I could understand if you wanted to add detail to the body textures I suppose, but even then I think you've gone overboard, probably to justify these mods even existing but the default textures are already perfect.
The faces are the most busted, like did you test the mods at all?
The super curated screenshots are so disingenuous, as soon as you leave HLMV it's over.
