Pretty sure it was just IR illuminator, IR laser and visible laser. It used the PEQ blueprint.

It mostly worked. I want to say that it didn't have a white light? That was kind of a constraint of the time, though.

I just don't know why the GB Devs didn't make it work the same way for user convenience and modder convenience. :c Sad face.

All the logic is there for a flashlight and a laser to be together. I just gotta find the way that the game will allow me to do that. Also I'm pretty sure the XC2 is a light/laser combo. I found a free model for it, which is nice. The XC1, which is in this pack, is just a light.

But even if you make(or buy), a 3D model for the Surefire X400 Ultra as an example, you have to go threw the coding of getting the laser and flashlight working properly, as you said in a past comment. The XC2 is just a flashlight that goes on a gun, so that's "easy", in a matter of speaking. But if there's no model already made for the XC2, then you have to make it. Which I can't imagine being easy I'm sure. Hopefully the GB Devs can modding more easier down the line, and somewhere soon.

If I had all the time in the world I would try to model/texture more of my own stuff, though.

Yeah, the XC2 is pretty small. And thanks. It's not that I lack ideas, just model availability isn't there for everything that comes to people's minds.

I think people thought it was going to do that but it obviously just does a weird mix of things. Knite on the GB Discord, who has one IRL, said it's a series of dip switches that you manipulate on the real thing to change which buttons do what. I need to see if those functions can be separated like how a PEQ does it.

You're welcome. Also wasn't the DBAL suppose to have the ability to switch between "Visible Laser", "IR Laser", along with "IR Illuminator" and "Flashlight" individually? Outside of the mod version of the DBAL I mean. Because wasn't the official one supposed to do the same thing? It would make things easier for modding the Surefire X400 Ultra and Turbo into the game if it did.

I don’t have that one yet, but I’ve had my eye on it. It’s part of the “gotta figure it out” group since it’s a light and a laser. I think it’s pretty doable with the DBAL in the mix now, though.

Like the Rifle Lights mod, I’ve got some other pistol lights that I’ll periodically add. Some of them have extra features that need figuring out first.
