@texee it already works, the server host has to whitelist a player's name in the whitelist and boom.

Did I ever say anything about me just being generally dumb and stupid? I sure hope I did because the moment I turned on file extensions in file explorer, I saw that the 4 .wav files I named instead had two .wavs at the end of their file names, oh my god.... I need to get myself checked up soon. but the mod now works fine thanks to your advice!

Wait are you saying the files are named "Layer1.wav.wav" or just "Layer1.wav"?
And also do you have show file name extensions enabled in your file explorer?
Because it has to just be "Layer1.wav"

Did you make sure that that you have 4 audio files that are named
"Layer1.wav", "Layer2.wav", "Layer3.wav", and "Chase.wav"?
make sure they are actually .wav files and not that you renamed the file extension.
Use a tool like audacity to export audios into .wav files instead.
If they are .wav files or you used a tool to make them .wav,
did you make sure that sample rate is 44100?

we need normal version so you dont have to mess with files/codes of gmod to change for example music and btw i did anything was needed and it dont works lulz

oh i forgot to update the required addons of the mod because the pathfinding determine wasn't there in the first release

use pathfinding to determine distance creates errors for some reason

i see what you did,
you're supposed to make a folder called literally anything in addons,
then in that "sound", then in sound "customterror"
then in customterror is where you put all the .wav files

did you make sure the audio files were .wav, and also that they are named Layer1.wav, Layer2.wav, Layer3.wav and Chase.wav? do the .wav files match garry's mod sample rates? (11025 hz 22050 hz 44100 hz) and also does it work normally with the default music?

i followed the steps. doesnt work. i put customterror in "addons" and i put "sound" in "customterror" and i put Capital specific names for the instructions.
