@Toasted Toby In vanilla gameplay, its current stats might trivialize the challenge.
With power-focused mods, its output appears mediocre compared to other options.
Ultimately, I believe players should decide for themselves whether to use the SolarGenerator Module. Everyone has their own playstyle.

@Toasted Toby If I reduce the SolarGenerator Module’s output to 750W, players would need to build two modules during the early game (requiring 320 Steel and 8 Component) to generate 1500W, which is still slightly inferior to a single solar generator (1700W). Building three modules would yield 2250W, but at the cost of 480 Steel and 12 Component—expending 3–4× the materials for just 1.5× the output of a standard solar generator. Unless players are on a space-constrained starship, constructing SolarGenerator Modules in a ground-based base (where space isn’t limited) would result in negative returns.
The original idea behind the SolarGenerator Module was to miniaturize the solar generator. If it performs worse than the vanilla version, players will see no reason to use it. Balancing this is exceptionally tricky:

@Toasted Toby Balancing solar power generation is a challenging task because its output is directly affected by global weather conditions. As per your suggestion, I’ll first list the specifications for these two solar power systems:
[solar generator] requires 100 Steel and 3 Component (Industrial), outputs 1700W, occupies 4×4 tiles, and takes 2500 work to build.
[SolarGenerator Module] requires 160 Steel and 4 Component (Industrial), outputs 2000W, occupies 2×2 tiles, takes 4000 work to build, and suffers double damage from explosions and wall-breaking attacks due to being a wall structure.
Their most significant difference lies in size.

I am experiencing a bug where I cannot interact with windows. When I dismantle the wall where the window is installed, the packaged window falls in place, but I cannot click on it or interact with it in any way.

I feel like the solar panels are a bit strong? I understand they are made for space and being "compact" but they are pretty crazy. The normal panel gives 1700 power and take a 4x4 space, while this one gives 2000 and only takes 2x2 space, you can place 4 of them in the same space as one normal and get 8000 power.

The ONLY downside is just that the cost is higer. But that cost is very little for what you get, just 1 more component and a little more steel?

It feels odd because I have the Vanilla Power Extension mod, which adds an "advance solar panel" which gives 3000 power. But that one cost Plasteel and an advance component and takes a whopping 5x5 space.

Now I do really love the idea of a compact solar panel, but maybe tone it down? Maybe make it so they give 750 power, that still means having 3 of them gives 50 more power, and haveing 4 (the same space as a normal solar panel) will give you 1300 more.

If anything, maybe just make a mod setting to change it?

@elun982697019 Oh, but it is metallic. I'm using the "Archotech Expanded" mod and wanted to use some of those materials for my base. They are metallic but as you said, it might be an incomplete adaptation. Thank you!

@MrAleTheSandwich The reason for this issue is the lack of airtightness in the material. In the base game, only metal materials possess airtight properties, whereas stone brick and wood materials do not. It is highly likely that this problem stems from incomplete adaptation of your mod material to the current game version. You may need to report this issue under the mod page where these materials originated for further adjustments.

Hey! There's a bug where if you build the walls with materials that aren't in the base game (vanilla) they become not airtight and don't work in space anymore.

@猎人小39 你先把Common Sense卸载了,如果没有报错,那你应该去Common Sense那边问,这边的mod是最简单的原版家具机制mod,这个床就是原版家具床的复制版,按理来讲不会出现NullReferenceException的问题,你这像是某个mod一直在引用床但找不到对象,可能是寻路逻辑出了问题,大概是某个逻辑类mod的问题。

@Baggetandrun In the Royalty , you'll actually need to create a separate patch to make these furniture items meet the throne room requirements. When I first designed these pieces, I plan to first create the furniture system allowed by the game's core mechanics, I didn't really factor in the DLC mechanics.

@elun982697019 Just wanted to say before i bring up an issue I've encountered. I love this and your Gothic furniture mods so much, just fantastic theming and quality of assets all around. One minor problem I've run into is that the beds and bedside furniture that this mod adds don't count for bedroom furniture required by empire ranks. Is this intended to be the case?

@Uriel Septim VII I think the bathroom furniture in "Dubs Bad Hygiene" is already quite good. Adding a slightly different bathroom design doesn't seem to have a particularly clear meaning.

@Uriel Septim VII The window furniture of this mod is mostly 2*1 wall furniture, which is airtight. The other one is wall-mounted furniture and has nothing to do with air tightness.

@FleissigTozzen I suspect that some content of the game itself in "Doors and Corners" has been adjusted through patches, which is why some strange issues occur. Since all my mods are modifications of the game itself, you can try to move the mods up in the list to see if that helps.

@量产型作死翁 你的发言被系统隐蔽了部分,所以我只能回答我看到的:3*3的桌子在考量过占地尺寸和使用反馈后取消了。书桌是一个可选择的东西,因为同样的矮柜定位的东西还有另外两个储藏柜,能和床链接舒适度的东西有五个。电池是特意缩小过的,为的是节省空间和美观,毕竟这个mod主旨是家具美化不是发电,所以我不想把它搞成一个用原版机制攀发电量的mod。

@Renay Edor I'm not sure about this either. The mods I made are quite simple. They are basically based on the elements found in the original game. Currently, I haven't applied any patches or updates. Logically, there shouldn't be any conflicts.
