the machine jonkled my gun

I can't spawn/use any of the ammo types from V92 Base. Is there a way to fix this? I have the base installed and enabled.

And I have no idea why, because I made this during my "barely knows what I'm doing" era of 2012-2013.

Fun Fact: Some people still use this Addon, Why?, Because it works Still somehow.

Glad I could make some notable memories. It's old, but it was fun to have around.

I set the machine to auto spawn in skyscrapper on my ttt server wayyyy back in 2018, server closed for a while, lost some data, etc, remade it in late 2022

one of the old members told me to put this again cus it was such a memorable part of the server, and so I did. JOKER AMMO!

If only you could just buy ammo from a vending machine in real life, and the guns are in a claw game machine.

Im trying to disable the talking on my server and i found the setting for it in the server but when i disable it, it just turns right back on. any suggestions?

It was one of the first things I ever coded, so I know I'm going to be totally disgusted when I look at it. I've been updating my NPC Groups add-on the last few weeks which is predominantly of a similar age, and it's infuriating me how god awful my early style was. Wasteful whitespace for days.

If you're using a legacy .GMA file, it needs to be in a child folder of add-ons. Legacy .GMA files won't load directly from "addons" to prevent dead/old .GMA files from loading, so it needs to be in a subfolder somewhere. Name doesn't matter, as long as the file path is "addons/some_shitty_name/addon_name.gma"

Or just load it as a standard legacy add-on instead.

After editing the extracted .gma, how do I make it show up in gmod again?

Open up the .GMA file and change the amounts in the .Lua file because I didn't think to add that back in the day.

how do i edit that instead of 15 ammo to give 1000 or more?

Just realized the actor for the Joker Ammo machine is also in Sunset Overdrive as the Fortune teller machine in the arcade.

I finally got the thing, near a wall it's possible that the props disappear once permaprops
But if you don't touch too much the entity and place it correctly, you should be able to permaprops!

Any more specific things to know about for some improved ammo distribution? I'm asking this because I would like to know how to get for certain weapons like grenades and rocket launchers for roleplay/immersion reasons as the ammo given is 15 shots every time you use the machine. It feels like there needs to be a trick to keeps yourself from receiving 15 packs c4 when you're just asking for 2.

i can't turn off the voice option in settings no matter what i keep unchecking the box but it still keeps talking can you please fix dis or give me some help with dat

I don't make addons for the public, I make them for myself. No one is entitled to anything unless I feel like it.

If only you had the time/strength to put every un uploaded addons that we sse in your screenshoots and videos that'll be awesome

so it still dosent yell stuff out, its permd and its charging people money.
one thing would be awesome though, if it had a menu, and if it would vend weapons aswell, so i could remove my gun dealer from my server, people self supply anyways...

Mine works. I can't explain that, unless you might need to reload the map after tagging it as permanent in the SQL database. Try that and we'll go from there.

1 issue. once i perma prop it, it stops yelling out joker ammo and stuff, also i would like to make it so when people use it, the machine charges them some money, could you help me please?
