I have the dx11 one, actually I have and use many of your mods, great work, From this pack the two that I use the most is the x5y5z1 and the x9y5z9 gravity funnel. I have a large cube collector that I drag around with my ship that uses these two that provide clean up of flooting ore when I am mining.

@lylesonders: wont updating this pack to dx11. I have a new pack with almost the same mods in it and you can find it in my workshop. If anyone want to update these to dx11, they have to contact me about that. I will add more stuff to the new pack, but I have no timeframe on that so if you really want to use the ones in this pack, then I think it would be good if someone would update them to dx11, but as I said, they need to contact me first :)

Any Idea of if and when you will get this to dx11 I use them on a number of my builds but since I only run dx11 now I haven't been able to bring those builds up to date. If there is no plans, can the witch or semodder4 convert them for dx11 since they are bringing most of the outdated mods back to life in dx11

@Director Juno: Haha, that is not suppose to be there! It was a testdrill I was working on. Not for public yet. I must have uploaded the wrong version of the pack. Sorry for that :) Strange that nobody said anything about it until now tho :) I wont update anything in this pack anyway but am working on a new one. I dont know if I will add the drill in that one yet, but maybe I will.

So I popped a bunch of your mods into a new game, and I find a drill from you in there. So I try it out and find a bit of an issue, but the problem is I really dont know which of your mods have the drill in it, so im posting this here, with other mining related stuff.

The issue is collision related I think, when using the drill, you literally have to stuff the head against the asteroid for it to mine at all, and it only mines a very small area, and half the time it is damaged from contact with the asteroid, but still not close enough to mine. And the particle effect from mining (the dust), is coming from the back of the drill, where it connects to the ship, instead of around the drill head.

The item is codecat_drill_v3, and I dont know which of your mods it came with, i use quite a few.

@All: I cant find the original files for these models so I need to remake them from scratch. This mean I will put them in a new pack. This pack will be up untill all the collectors that are in this pack also are in the new one. The Ore detector will not be in the new pack "not as it looks in this pack anyway" but I will maybe make a new one.

@Raze41: Thanks. I will redo the textures for these temporary, most likely end of this week or biginning of next. Later on I will make a new pack I guess with the new filestructure I use now but that will be later on as said :) All my mods will eventually be working with dx 9 and 11. All new one will be that. Love this mod ( find it very usefull) But I'm playing in DX11 at the moment and if it dose not have DX11 stated anywere i dont even give it a try..........Mostly I just type DX11 in the search field and >> them over and play :)

for reference, I was using the XL Funnel w/ built in collector that had a spherical grav generator behind it to provide the draw.

On a side note, with the XL Grav funnel, can you modify the gravity on that from a straight pull to more of a spherical one? That way things that are not quite centered on the funnel will be directed more to the middle by the pull.

Just one catch however.. For some reason, construction components seem to hit it much harder than ore. Be sure to back it up with a welder to keep it in good repair. Perhaps it's the 1g pull, I dunno

Actually found an alternate use to this outside of gravity mining. If you park a ship over top of one that you are grinding down, you can let the parts fall into the collector vs having to constantly empty your pack/grinder ship. just let inventory fill up, then grind away. As we've all probably experienced more then once, if your inventory is full up, the parts just drop where the block was.

These are fantastic, I use Ejectors to Funnels a lot rather than connector to connector to avoid ship / station damage, and these are fantastic, Thanks again!

@Draconix26: Ok, try starting a new world and check if it works then. Remember to not have any other gravity in another direction on the same spot. Please report back with results and if you can take a snapshot of your creation so I might build it in my own world "if you cant upload your world" .

@Wargasm: The idea of the funnel mods were mostly to make it simpler/faster to make the funnels. Unfortunately, I have not checked the weight. You have to download them and check it.

how does mass/weight compare to equal size funnel built with light armor?

As for use, they're extremely advantageous on starter ships/early on in survival

@Trollsama: Collectors are mostly used for garivtymining I guess.
I also use them in a build I made for transporting materials over a small distance.

@playboy71322: Build a normal collector and put the gravity funnel ontop of it. you need to have blocks around the collector for the funnel to have a base to sit on.

Thanks for the work you have put into checking this. I tried it in a new game both creative and survival and it didnt explode, must just be that one game that has messed up the world. My plan wont work anyway as the game limits how many objects are floating around. I either send very small batches of ore, or it disappears before it arrives. Looks like its haulers anyway.

@Hawkwar: I have now spent 5 hours testing the XLarge Gravity Funnel X9Y5Z9 and it do not explode or break on survival or creative. Ive dropped 1000000 ore at 1 g, I have done it from 24 meters and from the edge of gravity field, so total of 2 000 000 ore and no explosion. I even dropped 1 000 kg x 100 or on it and still works. I can drop 8000kg rocks in it and no problem. If you drop really big rocks " > 8000 " on it I know it will break, but thats in the gamecode and when you mine you wont get this big rocks. I really dont know why this happens to you. It might be some bug in game? Can you make a downloadable world of what you have so I can check with my computer? Maybe computer issues?
