It does not change animations. Simply put, since it makes combat slower, it means its much more likely you will just miss such animation happening.

1.3 was replaced by 1.3.1, so that is most likely what you have.

But anyway should work for older version too.

I still find ranges units good personally with it. Had my main army be half archers, they still rip things apart as long as you use your arrows well and don’t shoot legionnaires in the front left :). Very good submod imho

It makes ranged units weaker since this submod was pretty much made only due to requests to make ranged units weaker.

I find land battles to be a bit too fast, though I wouldnt chalk that up to archers

That would leave you with opposite results to what this mod is about.

People dont find melee fast in DeI, just missiles are too strong for some people so having stronger missiles would just make battle even faster.

Lowering hit chance would create other combat issues.

Overall I dont recommend making it slower than here, because it just turns it into cheat mod as AI will not do much.
