does this still work?
Officer SkidMark 27 Jul, 2016 @ 9:34am
Thanks. I will be sure to give you credit in my desc when it comes out
Arara  [author] 27 Jul, 2016 @ 8:00am
Yes, but be careful the first sbc was created 2 years ago, it can have different parameters(I didn't check)
Officer SkidMark 26 Jul, 2016 @ 7:24pm
Hey Arara, is it okay if i use the an Edited Version of the SBCs for the ammos for my own mod? i admitablydont have a lot of practice modding weapons.
LordZarmack 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:29am
good mod dude keep it up and make the lasers more death ray aye ;)
LordZarmack 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:29am
pluss your talking about humanity here. you think if w e had a big fucking laser cannon in space, wed make it invisiable? -"sure for covert ops" or political assasinations"

no way in hell. wed make it all the dam frequencies so any asholes who wanted to fuck with us, knew we ment buisness.

that mement when you realise physics optimisation and efficiency , ment fuck all cause your part of the human race. and humans care more about immage than efficiency.

big blue laser beam = cool = weak big violot beam = high damage- kills cells, burns electronics = looks "fuck all"

you know dam right wed make the main laser high damage, and have smaller sub lasers on the sides shoot a coloured frequency. for athetics. and tracking.

LordZarmack 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:24am
thats not entierly true. antimatter is a visable black / dark streem of protons.

plasma beam laser, is excited plasma particles, the green is not "far fetched nonsence"

and phaser beams- are a actual reality. cureently in development.

sure infer red, and ultra violt, and all the other "best heat transfering laser frequencies are deadly. but in space buddy there is no friction. or heat.

so the idear lasers are not visable in space, and visable lasers coudlent be effective to destroy things is bullshit.
Arara  [author] 30 Oct, 2015 @ 5:37pm
I see.. laser is.
LemonHeroman 30 Oct, 2015 @ 1:49pm
Mind I say something about what a actual laser thats as powerful as these?

1. A laser that will do a noticeable amount of damage Will almost NEVER be visible to you.
2. That laser will most likely be using some form of radiation. Which energizes/moves electrons, causing either Heat or giving off Light from the reaction.
3. The closest we've gotten for lasers that can cause reactions similar to this aren't able to be moved, aimed at something, or be used anywhere else but in specific testing facilities. And melt metal for very long time periods on a focused point.

So yeah.. Lasers that have colors and are visible in real life? Not going happen. (And it also gives us an advantage if the enemy can't see where and whats hitting them!)

Who cares about realism. Besides it not like science it standing still ya know yall realism groupies.

This thing looks awesome, nuf said

Just a small Suggestion, could you either come up with a better model instead of the KSH sniper rifle model. If i could model i would help but I don't have any training in that.
Arara  [author] 27 Jan, 2015 @ 8:35am
Simply, It can be jet of high energy charged particles guided by magnetic force or Gravity.
Enkar 26 Jan, 2015 @ 3:21pm
@Nasty Jack Starlight:
You may have been misslead tho, there is some lasers that can create plasma on impact (see PEP: Pulsed Energy Projectile) and the space propulsion device you're talking about (xenon gas based) is actually using this repultion that makes beams impossible, to accelerate. It is actually quite slow but a hell of a lot fuel efficient. Made only for in-space use, you woulden't be able to take off with it.
Enkar 26 Jan, 2015 @ 3:14pm
I was just making an observation, never said that it was bad, especially as it's a mod, i don't see where would be the problem in that. it's always good to have a nice variety of weapon, and if you want a 100% realist server you just don't put them in.

@Nasty Jack Starlight:
Well, actually, i was gonna make you a full explanation but the 1000 letters limit would have been way off. I'll resume: each plasma particule repulse each other. It is impossible to focus palsma in a beam. On earth it's barelly possible to hold some plasma together for a short ammount of time if not contained, and it's only thanks to our athmosphere.
Arara  [author] 25 Jan, 2015 @ 8:33am
Wait 100 years, if you need real knowledge to play the game about asteroid age :P
Nasty Jack Starlight 25 Jan, 2015 @ 8:11am
Not tryed this mod yet so cant say any thing about how realistic it is or is not but I had to reply to Enkar's comment about plasma in a ray not being realistic... I am geussing you have never heard of a plasma beam, it is a real device and has bin considered as a for of space propulsion and a weapon. Foucusing plasma into a beam is one of the few ways to project it over any kind of range, the classic plasma bolt of sci-fi is a bit harder to pull off. If you want a good sci-fi example of plasma beams try Star Trek phasers, or the weapons in Babylon 5 that can work in beam or pulsed mode.
Enkar 8 Jan, 2015 @ 12:07pm
plasma in a ray, funny! but definitelly not realistic.
Dread Naught 7 Jan, 2015 @ 9:36am
cant seem to get the turret to fire more than one shot whe set to my team (in creative mode) also wont let me control it :(
