Death animation sprites of the Assaulter / Breacher have been darkened.

Yep, that's it : he froze.

Do you mean he started the death animation but then froze like he was being held up by some invisible object.

If so, then yeah it's a bug. Occasionally, if missions were done with mods active and then viewed with different mods active it can have strange results. Even if a mod just changes visual aspects. Best way to avoid this is to stick with certain mods or to play missions entirely stock and then watch replays later with the mods. But again, it all depends on the mods and what not. If they alter actual gameplay mechanics then it can cause a desync due to something different happening than expected.

I watched a replay after enabling a uniform mod and the bullet wounds mod, originally made with the stock game, and everything worked fine.

When the soldier died, he was like blocked weaponless but still standing.

If I understand what you said right, the soldier should have been laying on the ground but he wasn't.

To be fair, I havn't got other dead soldiers than this one since. So I can't confirm it is not a bug.

About that gear customisation, for sure, it need an ingame engine modification to allow us to choose the color or every part of the gear.

As for the trooper death animations when using Red Panda's Enhanced Bullet Wounds mod, they work exactly as intended. Like previously mentioned, the visual wounds are drawn directly on the sprite sheets. To avoid conflict with my uniforms he left out the troopers otherwise he'd have to draw those on all of the uniform mods I've done. So what you're seeing are his custom enemy death sprites with my custom uniform death sprites. The better option would be to have the wounds overlayed on top of the death sprites so that they'd show up regardless of the sprite sheets used. But again, it may not be currently possible . I'm pretty sure I had tried that awhile back, actually. I should re-look into that.

And in regards to the color brightness, that has to do with the value range.

Well that's the idea. Colored uniforms, colored vests, etc. However, a better approach to uniform switching needs to be implemented for maximum customization options which, currently, may not be entirely possible. Because, as it stands, each option requires full colored sprite sheets and if you do every color for every item you can imagine how big that mod will be, plus how long it's gonna take. I've got a few thoughts on the subject but need to bring it up with the devs.

Nice !

If I may help : I tried to combine few of your colors with Red Panda's mod, and everything works kinda perfectly.
I just noticed that with his Bullet Wound Enhancement mod (which remove chalk draws and keep corpses), death corpses of soldiers are not displayed correctly.
I can't find why.

One suggestion I may do is, if I compare with Red Panda's work again, to combine Coloured Uniforms/Stock gears with Stock uniforms/Coloured gears.

Currently, colours are good, but not as visible as a Red Panda's coloured Gear.
For example : Assaulters could have Red uniform / Black gear, and Breachers Black uniform / Red gear.

See? (But that's just a suggestion)

That's always been the plan. I just want to get the base colors done first as well as maybe try a couple things out before I do.

That would be really awesome if you merged most of all your uniform colors like Red Panda did.

I like your colors, but I also like to set different soldiers with different colors (Red one for breachers, Black one for stealth, etc) and there are some Red Panda's colors I don't like...

Great job though.

These are the stock colors but put through my uniform coloring process.
