Dead mod?
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 18. jan. 2016 kl. 0:00
Hasn't been updated since then :)

But sadly, from what I can tell, I don't think there is a way round the way the windows are currently working since the last patch.
masterm 17. jan. 2016 kl. 22:39
great job sadly it did not take care of the strange windows refletions ,i got since the last update

Anything else you may need for info, just let me know, gladly send you any files requested.
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. 2016 kl. 21:11
The last patch seemed to trigger a bunch of errors with almost every mod (though this isn't quite the normal one). Unsure at this stage if it's a change or a bug; waiting until this Thursday to see before running round fixing 200+ parts over several mods.

Will investigate this one individually though as it looks to be a missing model which should be impossible - would have noticed that, or someone else would have by now! Will let you know the findings.

just the errors this is throwing out. I hope it provides all relevant information to be cured! Great mod mate, was what i was looking for!
KitsuneKas 14. dec. 2015 kl. 4:19
Thanks so much for getting this updated! Yours is the best glass mod!
[U.N.] Switchblade 13. dec. 2015 kl. 22:10
YES! :D
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2015 kl. 21:25
Oh yeah! Oops! In that case, definitely on the to-do list :)
[U.N.] Switchblade 13. dec. 2015 kl. 21:09
Check the post of Takeshi on 13th May, 8:14pm. He asks about small blocks.
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2015 kl. 20:56
Not been requested before (I think the chances of needing an interior window panel on a small grid are slim) but I'd be happy to add it to the to-do list :)
[U.N.] Switchblade 13. dec. 2015 kl. 14:05
What about small ships version?
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 6. nov. 2015 kl. 7:13
Terribly sorry for the extremely slow update - working with windows is extremely frustrating and it's taken me a long time to finally get my head round a few things. Both interior window packs are now updated to DX11. The 'missing' pieces have been added, though there will still be less pieces overall than normal windows due to no need for shade-inverted parts.
KitsuneKas 23. okt. 2015 kl. 14:01
Any ideas when this mod is going to get a DX11 update? Or is the author MIA? It's really the only clear glass option I really like, but...dx11...
farmer.joe 11. sep. 2015 kl. 2:31
Greetings, any chance for an inverted 1x1/2x1 face as well? My nickpickininess is getting to me when I can't get "smooth" lines.. LoL... currently using the one face given, it'll have one side sticking out.

Hehe, well that comment makes me very inclined to help - living in a tall building I know all too well the costs! :P

Will see what I can do over the next week or two; it's also the last of my mods which needs the DX11 overhaul!
Dark_453 29. juli 2015 kl. 4:07
Any Chance you could add small ship for use with this. Our server is always having people use small ships inc making houses in the large complex. i would love to add clean windows to them.. *paying the window cleaner is ok but he never gets them as clean as yours* lol.
Thank you for your time and hard work.
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 13. maj 2015 kl. 21:41
Hi Takeshi - small blocks have been a loooong time coming on my other glass mod (very popular request but I had a ton of challenges to overcome). I'm now 95% of the way there and will then be rolling it out hopefully this weekend. Internal glass will follow!
Takeshi 13. maj 2015 kl. 11:14
realy nice work. The clean look is the reason why i like this windows. But, i play on a mp server how the user needs also small windows for there small ships.
Maybe you add small blocks, then i think its possible to convince the admins to use this mod. Regards
MyTEO 18. apr. 2015 kl. 5:54
Excellent, thank you!
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 17. apr. 2015 kl. 22:35
Hadn't thought of the round - yes I don't see why not... I'll check in with Eikester and make sure he's okay with it :)
MyTEO 17. apr. 2015 kl. 13:36
Do you have any plans to implement other shapes such as the round variants found in your Diamond Bonded Glass mod?
kitsunelegendXx 15. apr. 2015 kl. 0:37
Just got done re-fitting the cockpit with your glass, and I can happily confirm it worked flawlessly! Air stayed in and the cockpit was fully pressurized! I am ONE happy engineer thanks to you. :)

Also am LOVING the clean look too. Very nice. ;)
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 14. apr. 2015 kl. 22:58
Any problems, let me know and I'll get it sorted - it's hard to account for every possible variable with these things, but usually an easy fix :)
kitsunelegendXx 14. apr. 2015 kl. 13:00
Oh that is fantastic! This will really solve the issues I was having due to the vanilla blocks not sealing when they really should. I may even just go and replace all the windows on my ship with these! 8D

You got yourself a sub good sir! :)
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 13. apr. 2015 kl. 22:01
They should do! I've had no reports of air loss since I updated the files.

It seems something can be made airtight in two different ways - the game tries to calculate it (and fails in the case of many window shapes), or we can force it via a setting on the block (which I did for most of the window shapes). The down side to the force approach is it can block oxygen at odd angles where it actually shouldn't be able to, but it's our only option currently.
kitsunelegendXx 13. apr. 2015 kl. 18:00
So quick question...the sloped blocks, the 1x1s at 45 degrees, they now will hold air right? Just making sure because I've been using the vanilla window blocks and they dont hold air no matter what...were you able to fix that? Those 45s are VERY important to one of my main ships as the area thats having the issue cant use anything else other than the 1x1 45s...

I'm just confirming is all. I wanna use them but only if that annoying bug is fixed first..
Dark_453 5. apr. 2015 kl. 5:17
just a note guys, since the last patch that added Oxy to EVERYTHING- mirroring on even keens stuff has been messed up- EG: Oxy tank rotate was screwy now the mirroring is hit n miss.
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2015 kl. 10:28
Oooh, that's an interesting one... will see if I can replicate!
ArcticWolf 29. mar. 2015 kl. 10:26
Came across a minor (?) problem with your windows. I used them to make a control room hanging down from the ceiling in my hanger. Once I installed my lighting and set it to blue (shouldn't make any difference on color) all of your windows from the hanger floor view went reflective and all I could see was the outside skybox in them. (you know that glitch where you can see the outside skybox in the conveyer tube windows? Same thing...) From inside the control room it was fine though....
Rhedd 24. mar. 2015 kl. 18:11
Fantastic, thanks! I'l let you know if anything doesn't work, but your other glass is fine so I'm sure this is too, now.
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. 2015 kl. 10:23
Updated to Rev 1 - should now be compatible with the new oxygen system. Please report any problems with this :)
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. 2015 kl. 10:17
Updating the CubeBlock file now, stand by :)
SpetS 24. mar. 2015 kl. 10:08
sry, is this updated yet? I changed the whole windows in my station and I dont have oxygen now :/
Rhedd 21. mar. 2015 kl. 6:51
Thanks!
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 21. mar. 2015 kl. 6:09
Hi Rhedd, will try and role out the same oxygen update to the interior glass tonight :)
Rhedd 21. mar. 2015 kl. 5:57
Oxygen update bug:

Looks like the angled glass, at the very least (haven't tested every piece) won't hold air. I believe I heard somewhere that odd-shaped blocks need some sort of "airtight" tag.

Your diamond-bonded glass works just fine, so whatever's different. :P

Hope it's a quick fix! I love all your glass and I use it all the time!
pablofo2003 25. jan. 2015 kl. 5:30
Hello I congratulate you on the mod, but I have problems with the accumulation of mod in my inventory. I would like crystals, can be modified through the torch and the grinding wheel. Ie 100% having a transparent face and the other not, being 70% transparent to both sides, for dirt to 60% and only 40% remaining within.
Lumios 23. jan. 2015 kl. 17:41
Ahhh ok, love your stuff, great work! :).
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2015 kl. 1:47
@Everyone Else: Thanks for the feedback - I'm glad you're enjoying and if you have any other suggestions please let me know :)
Tristavius  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2015 kl. 1:46
@Ced23Ric: Hmm, yes. Adding small ship versions would be fairly easy and wouldn't add much in the way of models. I'll add it to my to-do list.

@dRuPpl: I didn't really see this as a replacement to the current windows as they make perfect sense for the exterior of a ship. This addition was for internal glass where the origina; shaded and dirty model didn't make sense. On saying that, that's now three people who have asked for a replacement so it is something I will consider doing :)

@galacticon: Personally I have never used the faces and sides for internal rooms and couldn't see a situation where you would. When enough people requested them anyway I was happy to oblige, but a lot of people also objected to the extra parts which they would never use. Hence I have left a 'simple' version of the mod and instead released the full version here for those who want :)
Moonlightfox 23. jan. 2015 kl. 0:24
Love the thought behind this.
Lumios 22. jan. 2015 kl. 21:00
Why didn't you update your other mod to be feature complete?
nobu 22. jan. 2015 kl. 18:39
@DruPpl Agreed
nobu 22. jan. 2015 kl. 18:38
No dirt!!
dRuPpI 21. jan. 2015 kl. 8:44
awsome ... would be nice to have a "replace Vanilla glass" version :)
Ced23Ric 20. jan. 2015 kl. 4:25
Any chance of grabbing Hammerman's Small Ship Glass and making a clear pack with that, too?
CptTwinkie 19. jan. 2015 kl. 6:23
Tristy, I know you're only modding vanilla items but you're quickly becoming my favorite modder. You make the blocks we need!
