I found the problem, is in: units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables. But removing it makes the mod useless(dont work), deleting socii hastati solves the issue.

@Sebidee the issue with the Socii Hastati garrisoning every city in the map is with the mod Para Bellum, in vanilla doesnt happen. So now I will try again fix it.

I cant fix that, I hope can you fix it soon. Isnt gamebreaking but is hilarious see Socii Hastati defending Nisa hahahaha(and every settlement of the map xd). Thanks!

Thanks. I discover a strange thing: all factions get a 2 socii hastati as garrison in the main building(not auxiliary, I mean City capital and minor settlement). I try to discover with RPFM what causes it but Im not lucky

Technically they can use it, but it is difficult to make them want to and it's hard to get the balance right.

AI is tricky, basically you have to assign values to things to make the AI want to do it but it's very difficult.

Yes, I don't know if there is really a way to force them to do it.

However I am happy enough with it only being available to the player. I don't think it would be right if every AI faction was just using seemingly random units, I think it would take away from the experience of fighting them.

If the AI were to over use them and only had foreign units then that would be a big problem. Obviously the ideal would be for them to use like 10% auxiliary units, but if the next alternative is that they don't use any then that's fine by me.

My pleasure. After 50 turns with Para Bellum I dont have any issues but I noticed the AI dont build the auxiliary barracks.

Thanks a lot!!! Is fully compatible with any mod because dont touch anything, only adds and the units are untouched so the stats are ok with mods. Im testing with Para Bellum and works like a charm.

I checked back in the comments and missed if this was asked. Will the AI build this new auxiliary building and recruit units from it? Guess I have to find out when I play.

This mod still kind of works, but the unit placement for the regions is a bit off because of the territory changes.

The Romans already have auxiliaries. The auxiliaries you can recruit change depending on the province you've built an auxiliary barracks in. For example, you can recruit Celtic Warriors in Gaul, and Balearic slingers in Iberia. This mod adds the same function to non-Roman factions.

I started a new campaign as Makedonia. Now its working, having the building at least being offered for construction , showing the units that it can recruit at each region, what technologies it is needing to upgrade. Haven't construct any such building yet, but i have the option. All my previous attempts were as Roman.

Although it excited me as an idea, it doesnt work for me. If i understand correctly, i must have the option of constructing a new building from which i will be able to recruit all the new auxilia units. Plus, again if i understand correctly, some new technologies comes with it, that will allow it to be built and upgrade. The thing in my case is that i dont see any new building. And the vanilla auxiliaries building, just generates the same units, the vanilla ones. I moved it on top of the, few, mods that i am using. I run a game using only this one. I unsuscribed and suscribed again. Nothing changed. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Update to my comment below: turns out this actually DOES work for Parthia! It's just confusing at the start because the auxilia building doesn't unlock any units in your starting province (or any province you're likely to conquer for a fair while) thanks to the "factions don't get their own auxiliaries" change noted above. However, you can still construct the building, even though it doesn't unlock anything.

But once you conquer a region with non-Parthian auxilia, the building works as advertised.

I added from dk_all_military_infantry_1 to East_auxilia_build_2 to building_upgrades_junction_table, this makes it show up in the building browser. However it does not allow me to build it. What else needs to be added to enable that?

Is it possible that you cannot use auxiliary units as an Eastern Faction (Parthia, Pontus etc.) I can build the building itself, but it does not unlock any units. how can I resolve this?
