This mod seems to be broken. Up now pushes the ship down while using the large thruster. I haven't tried this on the smaller model.

Sektan, I feel like this mod needs some slight tweaks. I find that the thrusters use far too much power for the meager amount of thrust they output.It takes about 42 seconds for the small thruster to get a very small craft up to 60 m/s. Perhaps doubling or even tripling the thrust output would provide the ideal thruster, but at the moment, they are practically unusable.

Hi Sektan since some hours now I try to set up a custom sound for my own thruster mod. I found out that you can simply rename a .wav file to .xwm and the game will accept it. But my problem is that my custom sound is played by the game as just a static. I tried the normal conversion way and still got the issue. But when I play the sound not in game, everything sounds ok and not stiffed or static. Do you have an idea?

But I have a question: Would it be possible that you can bring the size of the big thruster of the small ship on 2x2x4? (high: 2 small blocks; bright 2 small blocks and 2 blocks long)

We just built a small ship with large version and it wasnot possible to move at all with these thrusters. is this a bug or a known issue?

Would be really cool to have the same colour variations as the Imhotep thrusters (white, yellow, orange, red, pink, cyan and green), as well as a 2x2 thruster (like the 3x2 but without centering) or a 3x3 thruster (just to bridge the gap between 2x2 and 5x5).

They look awesome but the Vanilla thrusters are stronger by a great deal. Vanilla large thrusters on large ships are 3.6million thrust, these only 2.6million and 10x the energy needed?

Got a question for you sektan would it be possible to develop a thruster powerful enough that maybe say 10 of them could move a 500,000,000 kg ship at a decent acceleration. Be about the size of these thrusters. Last thing, have a mass limit on it for balancing. Example: ship must have the mass of atleast 250,000,000 KG to equip. So that smaller ships cant put them on and have "OP" acceleration.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when these thrusters push my small ship to 104.7m/s, I lose steering control of the craft. It fixes after I go under 100, though. Thoughts?

Well if you set the force just right you can walk up something and hop out the other side!
i could show you this in action!

also something that may perhaps be easy to make and really helpful! would be a script that makes missiles not explode on friendly targets, so no more "fun" times of your ship exploadeing from the turrets that are meant to defend it..... sigh....

Umm sektan, i had a really good idea for a simple mod.
Using the normal passage models make a natural gravity generator with the range of like 3 M and a up to 4G force there for you could make gravity ladders! or even make it so the gravity Augusts to the external force.
i once planed to make this mod but the modding support was very outdated in this game :(
i can also send you a WIP model with no textures.

I would love it if these were updated to be hydrogen thrusters.
Or perhaps a seperate mod for those who like the hydrogen/propelant idea.
The whole S line of thrusters would be mega awesome updated thusly.

I feel like the box for these thrusters should be 2x2 for the small ship large thrusters. Leaves alot of room around them with the 3x2 size for them to be used in a build.

no matter what I do, I cannot get this mod to show up in the modlist even after unsubscribing, resubbing, refreshing, exitting and reentering the game and it still doesn't show in the list even though any of your other mods display fine. Is there a bug or am I missing something?

I love the look of these thrusters, that very "exposed engine" look. They are perfect for several ship build ideas I have. On top of that they are more powerful that the standard vanilla engines but in a materials balanced way. I highly recommend these thrusters!

@Sektan. I have begun looking for an alternative to vanilla thrusters, as using gun mods (such as OKI) IMO require ships with multiple layers of armor. To get a fair acceleration, while keeping the design of my ships, I have to upgrade my thrusters. As I see it, your thrusters provide some 40-50 percent additional thrust for the same surface area, while keeping roughly the same force-to-power ratio. Would you consider reducing the performance to be in line with vanilla, and use upgrade modules to regain the advantages? If so, I suggest two upgrade modules: a normal, with +50% force and +100% power, and an overclocked/afterburner with +200% force and +1000% power. Hope you will consider it. Great looking models, and a balance that is better than many other thruster mods.
