I think I found a bug, Franco-Ibera is not triggering the free virtue(s) after upgrading the personality trait (1 free virtue after every 10/8/6 virtues gained through culture). I had 6 virtues when I upgraded the personality trait from 8 -> 6, and did not receive the free virtue.

That usually happens because of Lua errors, though it shouldn't actually freeze your computer, it's just that the game will hang and won't minimize. If you run in windows mode, you should be able to close it. Turning Leader Graphics to Minimum (so they're just still images) should also prevent the freezing, but it doesn't solve the actual problem.

After the game has crashed, have a look at lua.log in...
Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\Logs
...to see what exactly's causing the errors.

Game freezes my whole computer every single time i meet my first colony. I can't imagine what is causing this, but it never happens in vanilla. Only with your Awesome modlist active.

Does this mod affect diplomacy in any way? Because either this mod or one of your other ones just caused my game to freeze on the first contact diplomacy screen when someone came across my explorer.

I was searching for mods and came to the conclusion (correct me if I'm wrong) that there are two main overlaping overhaul mods.
The ones from the developer/user "Gaia" and the ones made by "Ryika", I would like to know if there's a consensus in the community to which ones are "the best" regarding balance, playability and such...
Any advices or suggestions on the matter?

Yeah, that's intentional to prevent the "Spam tons of cities and just use their trade routes"-gameplay. To make up for the lost extra Trade Routes they get their extra trade routes 20% earlier and get bonuses from external Trade Routes. Not sure if it's obvious but the "intended" gameplay is to use the capital as a central hub for internal Trade routes (ideally with food focus in that city) to spread growth to most of your cities and then use (some of) the other cities for external trade routes. In my testing I found that to work very well mechanically (lots of Energy and Science and enough growth to quickly unlock the extra trade route in pretty much every city) as well as thematically as a Trade Empire with a booming capital.

Wide Empires already gain a lot of extra Resources on Average, purely because of how much land they take up, having the UA scale with width as well felt like forcing too much of a specific playstyle for me. I feel like having it be static numbers allows both playstyles to work.

I agree though, looking at the Sha'Yuri clan it's probably quite a bit overpowered compared to these sponsors. I may make some Changes in the future.

Polystralia receive +4 trade routes but what about the other cities.In the RT they get +1,but while playing I think I didn't see that extra route.

When you were thinking of balance why'd you switch the slavic federation from +8 Titanium and Petroleum instead of +2 per city?

Also most of these civs seem pretty laughably week compared to your other civ for rising tide, the +1 -> +2 on all basic resources is so nice that as her I can hilariously outpruduce and outgrow any other civ.

Alright, I had totally forgotten about the Brasilia Trait bug reports, I'm so sorry~ ...for anyone who's still playing with this mod though: It's fixed now! The Text has been updated and the trait now correctly rewards Diplomatic Capital.

After playing quite a lot with this mod myself I have also decided to lower ARCs spying speed bonus a bit. They should still be a strong option (Hint: The value of stealing techs really goes up if you steal enough of them that you can guarantee to get high-level techs at some point!).
