Love how he used the 555 reference, any DIY'er in electronics knows exactly what that is.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 26. jan. 2021 kl. 3:11
Block variants aren't additive so if I want to add them to the vanilla timer+PB+etc I have to overwrite it meaning I'd have to keep it updated with vanilla's additions... or I have to use a script.

As for research, none of my mods use it xD I've also seen from other modders trying to use it that it's prone to problems so it needs proper testing...
If you wanna do the research sbc and testing, I can add it in :P
Vas 25. jan. 2021 kl. 14:51
Hey Digi, think you can group your timer and programming block with their respective groups please? And put them with their research requirement.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2021 kl. 8:28
Can you post the crash log :}
Emiricol4Rl 25. jan. 2021 kl. 4:16
This mod crashes, now? That's horrible. It was *such* a useful mod :(
liquid_confidence 24. jan. 2021 kl. 17:10
@VAS - Digi said in the micro Prog block he is done with SE, not sure if he cares if you update this, just always give cred to the original. I looked because I notice this mod is now crashing my games, which real blows since it is so useful. If you update it that would be awesome.
Vas 11. jan. 2020 kl. 13:43
Think you can put this behind the timer block or in the same category as it for unlocking in progression tree?
Vas 29. apr. 2019 kl. 4:04
If you're not up for updating by the way, I can take over if you want. Its not like you'll have to update much further however since the game is on its release version. :P
Vas 29. apr. 2019 kl. 3:54
Heya Digi, any chance you can update to add this and your Micro Programming Block to the research menu in the same unlock as the timer and programming block?
Emiricol4Rl 8. jan. 2019 kl. 12:17
It works fine for me. This is a fantastic mod, thanks @Digi!
Digi  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2018 kl. 12:34
I'm not seeing any issues here, tried in survival and built both this and the micro PB manually, no crashes.

Probably another mod causing some issue, try in a new empty world in survival with just this mod and the micro PB and build them (get some resources from placing other blocks with SM).

Added you on steam to talk there in detail :}
Dark_453 20. mar. 2018 kl. 1:30
@Digi, i know your busy, is there a chance of getting this working again. seems to have its own catogoly but it dont show a icon, just a blank space. when you attaemp to build it on small or large grid it crashes the game. *(however) you can paste it in on both from a BP and it works fine. also building it with a welder off a ship works fine. #not on the same grid. I used these on my meny of my "small ships gone large" i would hate to have to replace them all with stock blocks. - Thanks for all your hard work.
*Peace out*

Micro timer block dose not show up on current build of SE

Digi  [ophavsmand] 12. juli 2016 kl. 5:47
There'a a mod with a single power cell as a block, I don't remember how big it is tho but try it :P
Elachi Dance Party 9. juli 2016 kl. 5:08
Hey Digi could u possibly make a micro battery sometime? It could be useful for powering 'tablets' for survival scenarios :)
Digi  [ophavsmand] 8. maj 2016 kl. 1:23
Power, ownership, etc.
It's just a timer block with a different model, if this doesn't work then it's almost certain an issue within vanilla.
Boss 8. maj 2016 kl. 0:59
hey mate trying to use micro timer block with micro programable block, micro timer block will not activate the programable block, any ideas?
Digi  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2016 kl. 15:36
Yes, it does the same as the vanilla timer block.
The Certain One 29. mar. 2016 kl. 13:32
Will it show it's state (switched on or off)? The vanilla Programmable blocks show it's state - green if turned on and red if turned off.
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 14. mar. 2016 kl. 9:27
lol, "vanilla-friendly"? Really I think in my opinion it should be the reverse. Instead of mods being made closer to looking like the vanilla blocks it would be better if Keen finally steps up their own blocks to match the quality detail of most mod blocks out on the workshop right now :)

They've shown some pictures of what they really could be capable of for block quality as well as a decent interior in previous blog posts, and still they haven't added them yet.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2016 kl. 1:02
I made this long before the electronics panel.

But I am unsure what'll make it more appealing on a wall... maybe a PCB of its own ?
EMEUTIER 14. mar. 2016 kl. 0:44
Any chance you could make a version that looks more..... vanilla-friendly?

A random IC stuck on a wall kinda doesn't really look 'right'. I know you made it to look good on your electronic panel mod, but I would greatly appreciate if you could use a model that would look good on a vanilla armor block. Your Micro Programmable block looks good on the wall though.

Badass Bro! Love it! Awesome job homes!
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 30. dec. 2015 kl. 21:09
Any chance you might try to combine this with the micro programmable block into a single mod pack? Maybe pack the hinges in with them? Since those are mostly individual blocks I was thinking maybe it could be better if they were compacted into one mod. Not only is it likely more convenient, but it means a shorter mod list in the world settings which can be helpful if you find yourself in a situation where your're limited for whatever reason on how many you can have active.

I really think those 3, along with the compact antenna and encased gyro if possible, would make a great combo pack for compact builds.
Shabazza 22. dec. 2015 kl. 6:21
Good ol' NE555. Like it. :D
Digi  [ophavsmand] 24. nov. 2015 kl. 10:52
No, can't change the minimal time delay with mods.

You can still use trigger now to execute it 60 times a second.
Or use the Loop Computers mod if you need a PB executed at a specific pace without a timer block.
Queen Bee 24. nov. 2015 kl. 10:34
can it have less delay than 1 second?
Awu 2. okt. 2015 kl. 5:49
YEAAAAAAH it works !!!!

I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and it works!

Thank you so much for your help!

But now I have to work... doing some (space) engineering things ;-)
Digi  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2015 kl. 4:55
Well that seems like the same error that was caused by update 01.101 which I fixed the next day... maybe yours didn't update or something ?

You could manually delete it to force it to be redownloaded, you can find mods in %appdata%/SpaceEngineers/Mods/ and there you can find the mod by the ID from the link, for this mod it's 400131986, so delete the 400131986.sbm file :P

I hope you can help me... I m just a gamer, don ´t know anything about programming
Digi  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2015 kl. 17:41
@Awu
I can place it just fine, can you look in your %appdata%/SpaceEngineers/SpaceEngineers.log and see if there are any errors... or just paste the text in pastebin.com and post the link :P
Awu 1. okt. 2015 kl. 17:32
Looks great, but I can´t place it any more... something must be wrong :-(
Avelius 15. sep. 2015 kl. 9:53
Wow man, Digi you need to calm down with this large number of mods you are developing. I am really impressed that you are making so many well-thought mods.
Darkaiser 27. aug. 2015 kl. 11:20
THANK YOU! Just had someone point this out to me on the Workshop and I REALLY needed it! All praise to the creator and big props during my next video!
Cheetah 20. aug. 2015 kl. 9:40
Nice! I'm tired of vanilla timers that somewhy are a big box of something that just simply clicks every X seconds. We are in 2077 or what?
doormatt 7. juli 2015 kl. 5:01
Taktron, I'm no modder, but I think I remember hearing that you can only make 'copies' of block functionality, which I assume means combo blocks won't work.
Taktron 29. juni 2015 kl. 15:57
Is there any way to make this and the micro programmable block both fit onto one block, or be a combo item?

Love the idea as well. Circuitry to run script and timers shouldn't be a full block of size. Nicely done.
Visentinel 23. juni 2015 kl. 17:38
lol at the model !

Is that a 555 that it's modeled after?
MA€STRO™ 31. maj 2015 kl. 11:19
Nice, update DX11. good job.
gripenblau 30. maj 2015 kl. 13:09
nice one of my favorite piece use it a lot :)
Digi  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2015 kl. 8:42
Updated for DX11.
gripenblau 29. maj 2015 kl. 13:36
gone do DX11? Like your mod :)
DerFedus 17. maj 2015 kl. 12:45
@Digi
Just using the mod as a component of the ship.
Thanks a lot!
Digi  [ophavsmand] 17. maj 2015 kl. 12:02
@DerFedus
If you're using the mod itself then sure, go ahead :P, I hope you don't mean repackaging xD
DerFedus 17. maj 2015 kl. 7:28
Sorry, almost forgot... also the micro programmable block .
Thanks!
DerFedus 17. maj 2015 kl. 7:28
Hi there Digi!
It's ok if I use your mod on a ship that I'm about to publish?
of course I'll give you the proper credit for your mod used.
Fury6 14. maj 2015 kl. 21:11
A 555 timer can't do anything just on it's own ;)..

Be kinda neat if you expand the model just a little to include the IC mounted onto a tiny PCB with a couple resistors & capacitors.

Just a suggestion...
