@xUMR Thanks!
Abolohit 5 jun 2023 om 6:34
Yes it works perfectly now👍
xUMR  [auteur] 20 mei 2023 om 6:21
Musharaf & Abolohit , the error should be fixed with the new version. Cheers!
Abolohit 29 apr 2023 om 21:11
Ok, thanks for the update!
xUMR  [auteur] 29 apr 2023 om 0:23
Musharaf & Abolohit , I'm working on a fix but the mod should work after about an in-game day despite the error message.
Abolohit 28 apr 2023 om 7:04
I confirm that this mod does not work anymore, gives the same error as mentioned below
Musharaf 19 apr 2023 om 6:21
@xUMR
Thanks a lot! DesableOtherEconomyMods works! But mode causes error: STEAM\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\405931025 [Refund.dll] has caused an error [ModException]

@StayHungryStayFoolish In Game anarchy full refund doesn´t work at all as I wrote few lines under.
StayHungryStayFoolish 18 apr 2023 om 2:23
Use Game Anarchy instead.
xUMR  [auteur] 17 apr 2023 om 12:05
Musharaf , the problem should be fixed by enabling DisableOtherEconomyMods in this mod's options. Cheers!
Musharaf 3 apr 2023 om 5:56
@xUMR
No matter if I have turned on or off full refund in game anarchy, this mod doesn´t work too. (No full refund) (Without game anarchy I didn´t tested because I need GA)
xUMR  [auteur] 29 mrt 2023 om 10:46
Musharaf , what seems to be the problem? Is it the incompatibility with Game Anarchy 0.9.8 ?
Musharaf 27 mrt 2023 om 2:02
@xUMR Nice mod, will you udate it? New game anarchy doesn´t work good.
Ángel 13 apr 2020 om 13:25
Thanks so much. Im gonna try it out, and get back to inform if there were isues.
xUMR  [auteur] 12 apr 2020 om 13:42
Ángel , I don't have the DLC but the mod seems to be compatible with the 1.13.0-f8 update.
Ángel 11 apr 2020 om 13:04
Hi. Is this compatible with sunset harbour?
xUMR  [auteur] 22 mei 2019 om 9:25
Simpson , it should be compatible now. Cheers!
Simpson 21 mei 2019 om 10:02
i suspect this is incompatible with pause on load https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=408905948 i don't seem to get any money back during the automated pause state.
xxx78 8 dec 2016 om 14:49
Seems like the best mod regarding refund , thanks :)
xUMR  [auteur] 30 jul 2016 om 10:36
NbIIL , sorry for the late reply, and thanks for your kind words.

I have sort of lost interest in the game. So, frankly, I'm feeling too lazy to modify this mod. Though I'll be more than happy to merge a pull request.
NbIIL 23 jul 2016 om 2:19
Great but,

I want to play "seriously", I just want to try things but if I am wrong I can be refund. This is how I use it. So I use it with pause mode, and it works fine. But I got 0 refund when not in pause mod.

Can you set one way to select refund percent when the game is in pause, and another one to select refund percent when it is not ? (so we got 2 percents selector and 0 checkbox in the options)

Thx for your work !
SonicTheWarthog 10 jun 2016 om 17:12
ok cool, good work, kinda unacceptable this isn't how the game is by default
xUMR  [auteur] 5 jun 2016 om 1:30
jitsuin , that's correct. It gives refunds for stuff built during pause for the duration of that pause. You can use the in-game options menu too, the screenshot was not up to date.
SonicTheWarthog 4 jun 2016 om 13:21
on the settings file, i put only when pause to true and the modifier to 1.0, will this basically just give me full refunds for stuff built during pause? if i press play and then pause again later, it wont give me a full refund right?
Terabyte 25 mrt 2016 om 7:17
@xUMR Thanks for your response. Works fine now. The mod was not activated, my bad, sorry.
xUMR  [auteur] 24 mrt 2016 om 12:39
Terabyte13, it should work for a while with RefundModifier as 1 . Make sure RemoveTimeLimit is true if you it want to work indefinitely. Building during pause doesn't matter.
Terabyte 24 mrt 2016 om 11:49
Want to get full refund for roads and buildings built during pause. Changed RefundModifier to "1.0" (without quotes). Doesn't work for me. Do I need to change something else?
Ironstar 24 okt 2015 om 20:03
Works fine. For those who can't find the settings file: you have to launch the game, enable the mod, load something (either a new game or a save game), and quit to desktop. The settings XML will then be generated and you can manipulate it. It is also possible that the settings file is generated on map load, but I'm not sure.
Nen's 1 aug 2015 om 19:14
works well thanks
Aeryn 26 jun 2015 om 14:45
'refund.settings.xml' doesn't exist.
Charlie-Lima 29 mei 2015 om 3:03
This mod is working for me with game version 1.1.0. without any problems so far
SpaceYoghurt 25 mei 2015 om 10:38
Yeah, since 1.1.0 it stopped working for me too.
PandaLeaf 21 mei 2015 om 23:38
Unfortunately this mod doesn't appear to work for version 1.1.
xUMR  [auteur] 6 mei 2015 om 13:48
daedalus01, you can just type "1" (without quotes) for a full refund.
daedalus01 6 mei 2015 om 12:26
I see in the config file that the RefundModifier is set for 0.8; so it seems I ought to manually adjust this to 1.0 for a full refund? Curious why this wasn't needed in the original version of the mod (or the game).
daedalus01 5 mei 2015 om 21:01
xUMR - I haven't changed anything in any config file - do I need to?
xUMR  [auteur] 3 mei 2015 om 13:00
daedalus01, have you changed RefundModifier in the configuration file?
daedalus01 2 mei 2015 om 16:40
I can confirmed the same - it doesn't work on 1.0.7c, even with other mods disabled (I tried this but kept the Enable Achievements mod on).
Cahos Rahne Veloza 19 apr 2015 om 12:53
In case it isn't clear, the figure on the left is a small stretch of road about to be plopped amounting to 400 credits. The figure on the right is the projected refund. It used to be that your mod provided a full refund of 400 credits instead of the default in game refund value of 320 credits. Also the disabling of the time limit seems to not function at all anymore.
Cahos Rahne Veloza 19 apr 2015 om 12:48
OK, here's a test screenshot showing off the fact that this mod isn't working anymore:

http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn179/Cahos_Rahne_Veloza/refund%20test.png

And as you instructed, I did disable all of the other mods I use.

I even tried unsubscribing to all of 'em to test compatibility with your mod, but still a no go :(
xUMR  [auteur] 19 apr 2015 om 9:13
I didn't run into any problems with version 1.0.7c. Maybe it's incompatible with another mod. Can you try again enabling this mod only and see if the problem persists?
xUMR  [auteur] 16 apr 2015 om 10:46
I'll look into making this compatible with the latest patch.
Cahos Rahne Veloza 16 apr 2015 om 9:58
Yep, can confirm what daedalus01 said about the mod no longer working on patch 1.0.7c it seems :(
daedalus01 12 apr 2015 om 18:54
Mod does not work in latest version of the game (does not refund newly build roads or allow free building relocations). Would love this to be fixed!
KarmaGotMyBack 28 mrt 2015 om 12:42
Fix the mod please.
Cahos Rahne Veloza 27 mrt 2015 om 13:19
Hope you can update this soon for compatibility with the latest game update (patch 1.0.7b). A lot of mods went broken after that patch was released.
Snazz 26 mrt 2015 om 21:27
Unsubbing for the same reason.
Deadshot Omega 26 mrt 2015 om 20:53
Always present window from last update is really annoying and not very pretty. Removed from game for now... :(
RadGH 26 mrt 2015 om 18:35
Why did you add a GUI window? Why is it always visible? This thing DOES NOT need to be visible at all times. And it definitely does not need a button cluttering up the game screen either. Maybe in a options menu?

I can't stand this update. It was fine before. I'm going with the other one which is silent, like this one *was*.
Sam Bot #One 18 mrt 2015 om 14:33
Loving this. Looking forward to the planned features.
