May be different depending on where your game files are installed, and if the custom folder doesn't exist you may have to create it. This was the old location prior to an update patch for Insurgency and Steam and still worked the last time I played it.

Is an alternative path where insurgency started placing all workshop content mods. If you create a folder called 410263570, which is this workshop item's id, it should help keep it organized

Often times people report screeches and improper audio, and the cause is because a new sound cache is not properly created. For example, when previous mod data is left over and a new mod is used, the length of audio files do not match. If the original file in the soundbank is longer or shorter than the modded file, the difference will be replaced with screeches.

In other words, not properly deleting old mods will cause problems and/or clashes with existing mods. These mods that have been reuploaded were not recent, and there is no other explanation i can think of since i can not replicate your bugs. However, with a majority of audio bugs, you can also open the console and see which audio files might appear to give problems in the logs.

Which mod do you have for the weapon sounds? They sound different from vanilla Insurgency, maybe it's just me

i have wilhelm death scream installed...wonder if this will mess it up, or two deathscreams play at once. everything else about this mod i want except the death screams...

...hnnnngh...no complaining, now, just download the thing. after i subbed the anime girl voices, i just got to either unsub the other mods i already have to try to completely replace the default voices with these mods. it does get a little bit immersion-breaking when i have several voices coming out my mouth, but why the fuck do i care my guns make lewd noises when i reload.

Still an awesome mod tho.

Reinstalling did not work but that's ok. I'll unpack what's not working for me and either just delete it or see if I can fix it. Just wanted to let you know in case other people had this issue. Other than that, thumbs up for the hillarity and the quick response.

Sorry, but I'm not sure how to fix that. It works perfectly fine for me, so I never encountered that problem. I would suggest unsubscribing and deleting the vpk from insurgency's workshop folder, then subscribing again to make it download again. Other than that, try to wait for all workshop mods to load before entering a map.

There are a lot of files from this mod that are not playing because of a wrong sample rate (48000 I think the console said). One of every four lines in my console are winding up an error because of this. =/

I dont know oabout other users but I myself like to showcase my mods theo their fullest extent so you know what your getting to start off with, as a user I appreciate that kinda care someone puts into showcasing their work.

If it's really necessary, I can upload an audio preview with a few voices like for the other voice packs.
