Wow, well done. Even if not used for everyday use, looks great and you captured the color filter very well.

Thanks so much :)

Open options in-game, and find the Color Correction drop down. Apply this filter there.
Make sure you are subscribed and it's turned on in the Mod Assets window.
You should see the changes once the options window is closed.

As far as *how* it works. The producers did cleaver maths to make mod friendly filters super fast and streamlined. Brilliant.

Ow my god!!! Found this now after all this playing where I had the whole mirror's Edge soundtrack in the backround of this game!!! This is the best mod ive seen!
Staabi 11 Jun, 2015 @ 10:40am
omg. Since i played mirrors edge (when it was released) i always wanted to have/creat a perfect city like the menu-city. And i never came up with the idea to do that with a mod of city skylines.
I am sooo thankfull!!! :)

I like this one better than others, as others don't have the blue tint.
Will be great if you have a version that combines other colors highlight too - yellow, blue, gree.
Fokzo Kat 6 Apr, 2015 @ 8:07am
I think you should do a version that has a bit more colors, because mirror's edge wasn't only "White & red", there was also a bit of green, blue and yellow. Maybe you could match it to some type of buldings, i.e. Industry go yellow, offices go blue, and maybe some commercial go green ?

Very Futuristic, crisp, and fun!! Thanks!
BigDamnHero 31 Mar, 2015 @ 6:29am
OHHHH. Okay, haha. Thanks man, appreciate it!

Not a menu filter. It applies to in-game renderer. This emmulates Mirror's Edge Menu *look*. To apply the filter, open options, look for Color Correction drop down menu. Scroll down and enable "MirrorsEdgeRedMenu". Only visible in-game.
BigDamnHero 30 Mar, 2015 @ 5:41pm
In what menu's do the hilights show up? I guess I'm being stupid and not choosing the right menu to notice this filter?
Jemign 27 Mar, 2015 @ 4:44pm
YUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Wanted this so bad. Thank you.

@texasjakit Fair enough :B1:
ggianfra 26 Mar, 2015 @ 6:27pm
Must have! Thank for share!
texasjakit  [author] 25 Mar, 2015 @ 4:55am
@Mr_FJ , you should check out some of the other filters in the workshop. Specifically another filter is attempting to emulate what you described. This look is just going for the Menu look only :)
»Mr_FJ« 25 Mar, 2015 @ 1:47am
You should add more colours. Mirror's Edge also had other basic colours, not just red :)
texasjakit  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 3:47pm
That's okay. It also took me a while to spot the color correction settings in the options menu. Surprised how integrated it all is :)
Krist 24 Mar, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Excuse me for a moment, I'm a dumbass.
Krist 24 Mar, 2015 @ 3:00pm
I can't seem to get this mod to load up. It's turned on in my assets, but it just shows the basic visuals. Any ideas?
texasjakit  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 2:17pm
@Legosheep sure, knock yourself out. Just go to town on this file.

How does the mod decide what to make red and what to make white? Also, would this mod work with other colours? Or maybe even mutliple colours at the same time? I know it'd be veering away from looking like mirror's edge at that point but it might lend itself to a very interesting visual style.
laziem 24 Mar, 2015 @ 2:18am
WOAAAA!!! love it!
texasjakit  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 12:00am
Awesome. Yeah, I'm a motion graphics guy, so I jumped at the chance when I saw the visual modding tools. @crutchfieldt sure, go for it. No strings attached. I'm even willing to give people my working files if they want them. It's a great community.

I know it might seem odd, but Mirror's Edge made me incredibly nostalgic for a good city builder just from feeling so connected to the city and through that awesome visual style. So thank you @texasjakit I literally gasped and did a jaw drop, this is super cool!

Saw your mod featured in PCGamer article, this game is now on my wishlist as a direct result. You did that
Firebug 23 Mar, 2015 @ 7:09pm
This mod looks incredible - do you mind if i use this mod in a youtube video for my channel? I would be more then happy to link back here!
texasjakit  [author] 23 Mar, 2015 @ 3:19pm
Tweaked it the best I could. Tried to minimize color blending while keeping the shadows in the red.

I'm with all of you. Super surprised it turned out so good.
3 Cheers for Colossal Order's great modding support and forward thinking mechanics! Such an amazing game.
