@Zangdar
I have seen a mod that lets you export excess power in the last month or two but can't remember it's name. Just letting you know that such a mod DOES exist.

If you can't easly use a custom asset is it possible to change the logic to combien origional and new functionallity.

E.g.
0-100% of max station output cost is normal (i.e. locally generated power)
100-xxx% of max station output cost over 100% is x4 (i.e. node has import limit, multiple nodes needed for additional import)
0-negative xxx% sell at a discount price (personally i would cap total export income to 1-2xtotal electical maintanance to stop various silly situation)

I presume demand is (actual demand - generated power) / total import nodes.

The plan is to hack a custom asset. But as it is now i can't figure out how to bundle them as same mod. And i have not yet successfully modified an own asset.

I really love the idea, but I don't like to see the coal plant disappear altogether. It feels like a hack to make this work. Can't you add your own object, and reuse the power line tool or something ?
