This is so silly, the modding API.
Some mods need that you load the save game twice...
Other mods become borked when you load the save game twice...
Details:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at NoTreeDirt.ModLoader.OnLevelLoaded (LoadMode mode) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
at LoadingWrapper.OnLevelLoaded (UpdateMode mode) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
ModException: A Mod caused an error
And yes for those who says the mod doesn't work, just do what DRen72 suggested, reloading your city a second time will make all the dirt from map trees disappear :D
Ok. To verify....it worked once I loaded the game a second time. So it does work!!!!
It's no longer available in the workshop and it was essential in my opinion and worked just fine. I'd love to see this type of mod return.
